Hey everyone I just got a used tc 2006 and I love it, i really want to do somethings to it. But I dont know where to begin. Mostly right now I really want to buy an exaust or some black rims.. but I dont know if there is something that I should do before hand.

Can someone give me a hand...I'll be happy with any possible help.

it all depeneds on what your planing on using the tC for. in the summer its great to get attention, but u can also use it for some performence, if you want to just do a lil something to it, i say, cold air intake, exaust, drop it. some nice rims, tints is a must, and HID's that will make it look real nice and also give it a nice clean rough sound.

Depends on what you want to focus on first. Exterior, Engine, Audio, Suspension. Theres alot of small things you can do that really make your car shine.

first of all, Welcome to the site...hope you enjoy your experience lol

as everyone stated its all preference...the tc is great in that you can go either for performance or appearance...or both....

try usin the search option to get more acquainted with many of the possibilites that are available for the tc...and we are all more than willing to help.....

hids, tints, cold air intake, lowering springs, lip kit, carbon fiber....thats where i started and i love how my car is at the moment...soon ill be doin more performance

good luck

^^^ when you put them together it gives your engine a nice sound. but a good CAI will add about 7 to 11 HP if u conbine it with the exause your looking at an extra 15 HP or a lil more.

this is the intake- the silver pipe on the right hand side...basically sucks more air into the engine increasing performance while giving off a nice growl wen u step on the gas

hope the pictures didnt make me come across as a smart ass(even tho i really am) but i was tryin to just give u a picture of wat they are...

the intake will growl wen u step on the gas a bit....

the exhaust will growl from the minute you turn your car on..depending on which exhaust you get...the tone will obviously be different...

so to prevent damage to my engine should I get a exaust before geting an cold air intake.
sorry for asking this... is just that I have a friend that got a supercharger for his car (mustaque) and his engine bluw up ..because he didnt make it strong enough first.
so im a little worried about first things frist...you know what i mean.

pulley?...

from wat i understand the light weight pulley makes it easier for the belt to rotate due to the lighter weight of the pulley...freeing up some power that was previously restricted by the heavier pulley

the intake and exhaust are pretty safe mods to do to your car...

the intake will only cause issues if you drive through a 4 foot puddle reving your engine...other than that the intake really doesnt present much danger to worry about

either way you go...the car will still be reliable....

ps- if u do go the supercharger route eventually...you will learn the trd supercharger isnt very popular due to the fact that it constantly has problems...but having the warranty through scion certainly makes it nice to kno that they are responsible if it breaks....

i have the injen intake

http://hopupracing.com/incoairinsct.html

this site has the best price that ive seen for it...but the injen cai in my opinion is the best for the simple fact that you can have it as a cold air intake(extends down into the fender) or as a short ram (sits in the engine bay)...

and it sounds amazing
