Yea I know what you mean lol. I took awhile to decide on Doc's. The real reason I chose his was that it has the best throw decrease I could find out there at about 50%. Another cool thing is that you can chose the amount you want it to drop, from 0" all the way to 3". Plus it is amazing customer service with quick answers and shipping!

I HIGHLY recommend this short shifter.
I own it and love it, and everyone that drives my car that has a short shifter says it puts theirs to shame

Thats good to here. I have heard it is a very nice shifter! What did you get as far as a decrease in shifter height? And how did your install go?

I have a two inch drop. Install was made a lot easier with air tools

Nice I wish I had air tools but im not that cool.. but ya I went with a 1.5 inch drop but I was debating a 2 inch one.

I wish I would have gotten 2.5

Really? From what I have heard the shorter the shifter is the more force it requires to shift from gear to gear, meaning your better off going with a little longer like 2"-1.5" off the original height.

It depends on your preference, but you can always add a weighted knob to the shorter shifter to help offset the shorter leverage point. Doc sells those too

Just came in the mail a day early!!! It's beautiful isn't it? I think I am going to install it tomorrow if I figure it out. Everyone has to keep tuned in just in case I have any problems with this install. And you never know with me!

Well I installed it last night! It is sooo nice! Install wasn't too hard either, pretty basic if you knew what you were doing at all. I took pictures along the way so I could make a DIY that I should finish tonight depending on how it goes. I will post pictures as soon as I get home from school.

Once the DIY is made, you all will see how easy the install really is. I just used the TRD instructions (get them from TRDSparks.com) and they were easy
