This will be solved with the new private messaging thread system. The second and future replies of a message will automatically include RE: before the message. The actual subject of the message will not change through the duration of a conversation, meaning additional RE: won't be added.

 A scrolling folder for "Inbox", "Sent", "Trash"....rather than an open length page. Possibly have 10-15 messages displayed per page or something like that.
