I had to order one from dealer, took two days. and becasue of the alignment was messed up, it shredded my tires and caused one to pop. Then thats another 175 for Control arm and whtever they charge u for install.

if you bent it.. you're pretty much screwed..

funny story... one guy with a tC came by one time while i was hanging out at a friend's shop.. wanted to get an alignment at the shop next door..

HOLY CRAP he bent the F#$%! out of his control arm... the front passenger wheel was touching the back part of the wheel well and the wheel gap created was INSANE..

an alignment?!?! he both looked at him in disbelief that he thought an alignment was the only thing that has to be done... eesh.

if you bent the control arm then it will be a pain in the butt . You will have to order another one from a dealership and then pay to have it installed plus do an alignment .

i had the control arm bent on my lancer. I dont know if its just me but i actually noticed a difference in how the wheel reacted when i tried to make a U turn and stuff. It made a funny sound too like 2 things completely rubbing against each other. and when you put your hand where the wheel well you could notice sometimes if its too much damage how much of a difference in the gap you have.
