Hello, I searched around the website, but couldn't find an answer to my question. I bought my Scion TC used and it did not come with the gps navigation unit. So I bought the dealer GPS/Navigation and recently installed the stock navigation system to my 2007 scion TC. The problem I have is that I cannot change the directions while driving. I know many units have some way of bypassing this safety feature. Can someone tell me how to do it? I have already tried putting the parking brake, speed sensor, and rev signals to ground but with no luck. Thanks in advance for your help, hehaha |

i think I read somewhere on the net that there is a bypass that someone makes for the tc. Honestly, I wish you had just gone aftermarket. There are many other units that are worlds better than the sns system for scion. For 2k, you could have put together an entire sound system. If you or anyone wants to add to your sound system, look on www.millionbuy.com. The prices there are very fair because they buy objects wholesale. Screamin' Death... Comin to a town near you! |

I bought the deal unit with the thinking that it would be a super easy install. Pretty much plug and play, no bezel pieces, no drilling on the flap door, etc. Now, I ended up with an annoying problem that is bugging me. There's got to be a way to bypass it. Are there any aftermarket products that will fix it? I looked on google, but couldn't find anything that popped up easily. |

if anything man just take back to the dealer and see if they can figure it out. But put the factory radio in place and see if they can install it without coming across the same problems you did. Toyota is good for messing with things so it isn't easy for the owner to do their own work to their car. Screamin' Death... Comin to a town near you! |

I am not having any problem installing the Scion Navigation System. I am trying to bypass the safety feature which makes me pull to a stop before I can enter a destination address. I doubt Toyota is going to disable any safety feature for me. |

ok. Well you know that scion (toyota) is all about safety and all that other good stuff. Finding a bypass for that might not be worth all the trouble. Screamin' Death... Comin to a town near you! |
