 Hey i was wondering if anyone knows how to install a tachometer on an 08 tC?

 dont know how to install it but im pretty sure its not that hard. but i have to ask why do you want one!? just curious

 well i want to install it cuz it has just been layin around my room collecting dust. i mite as well install it but i dont know how. and i want it cuz of da shift light.

hmm... there are shift lights a bit more inconspicuous you can choose to install instead?

 yeah dats da reason y i wanted to install it. any suggestions of where i can find just a shift light?

 Talked to the shop forman and he believes it would come off the crankshaft position sensor since that is the where the rpms are measure (crankshaft). You may have to tap into the wire to the CPS but not 100% sure. BMWs are tied into the DME (computer).
