I was looking to purchase some headers, but because they are right on the engine i was wondering if toyota made headers, or if there is a certain brand you must get?

no, also, header doesnt void your warranty unless the dealer finds the cause of the damage to be done by the header. also, some states do not allow after market header. so check ur local laws first. i have the megan race header on mine.

custom doesnt come from mommy and daddy

you don't need a certain type of anything to keep your warranty... except for not getting a crappy part that'll break and cause issues.

also i know someone else is going to say this so im going to beat them to it. v-5 and v-8 cars have header(s) because they have 2 exhaust manifolds. our little 4 bangers though only have one exhaust manifold so it is a header!

The only thing a dealer can do is say "No, we will not work on your car." They are not denying the warranty of the car but they can refuse to do any work on the vehicle if they have not touched it yet.

Everyone laughs or does not believe me when I say that I have an HPR header . Generic and from Nopi.com (I bought mine at Autozone) but I'm at 55k+ on it and NO ISSUES ever. This car pulls hard and sounds great at high rpm (where the header is really designed to work on my application).
