a sri has about the same effects as cai. the sri is just closer to the engine which there is more heat compared to cai. all intakes kill gas when u floor at high rpm. u get only a little more hp with cai but sri is good if u live somewhere it rains a lot.

dont think it'll improve gas mileage but it will not rattle as long as it is installed correctly

if you dont wanna pay that much for an sri, just remove the tubing running out of your airbox, take out the air silencer and plug that up, and install a k&n filter. Sounds just the same as an sri.

doesn't matter... i drive around in the rain with a cai all the time..

and yea... even your stock intake will kill gas driving at a high rpm...

If you drive the same way when u had the stock intake you should see a "LIL" increase in mpg. but yea if u keep flooring it that doesn't help your mpg at all lol.

the gas difference between aftermarket intake and stock is so slight you'd need a magnifying glass to see the needle difference.

in truth, you may gain about 1 mpg extra at most
