06' Tc with the VSE-SCI-TC-04 (Part number: PTS20-21050) I grabbed the VSE Bazooka Sub enclosure package (above) and installed it to factory specs. I've run into a couple odd things that I am also emailing Bazooka about. They say you need to connect 2 of the wires to the speaker yet all 4 were connected in mine already. The install is stupid easy (http://www.sasbazooka.com...t_TEMP%20PRINT%20FILE.pdf) I've done alot of installs and this by far is the stereo install for dummy's. Problems i'm having. The specs say to test it , change the balance from left to right, checking on each that you get sound from the sub and of course it should be loudest with the balance in the middle. Well... It only hits on the left side. I did some troubleshooting and found that it does get signal to both voice coils while the balance is on left and non while on right. Everything is plugged in right (it's impossible to plug in wrong from what I see) Yet it doesn't seem to function right. It does hit. I just want to make sure it's all i'm going to get from it. Overall it sucks. It adds some bass which I do love but not what I'd expect. Some songs don't hit much at all and others hit good, seems like the cutoff is horrible. Manual says 28Mz - 100 Mz. Which must be on the edge of alot of songs. Doesnt' seem to punch to hard on the drums but low bass does rumble a bit. Anyone have one of these? The 2nd problem might not be related but I'm thinking it is. My power windows aren't working right now. The auto up/down doesn't work at all, the button on the driverside for the passenger window doesn't work at all, but it does on the passenger side. The little lights on the buttons are screwed up as well. Passenger side lite flashes constantly about a 1/2 second flash on/off non-stop. I'm going to check tomorrow when I unhook the sub if it's related or not but what tha hell! Any clues? |
