I have been endlessly studying, and reading up on my near future intake and exhaust purchases, and would like to start by saying I plan on keeping my car N/A. Am i correct in the following statements? I want to purchase a 4-2-1 header which helps more on lower and middle rpm gains than a 4-1 header! That seems to lead me to the Weapon R race header, and S-pipe, which is pricey but within the budget. Hop-up racing has them for $479.00 right now! I also want the injen CAI which should lead to bigger HP gains than other intakes as the dyno tests online say(who knows how accurate they are). I have found one at killertc for the best pice so far, but am wondering if mabye there is a cheaper source out there. All in all I would like to hear some feedback on this subject! Also if anyone has any sound clips of Weapon R headers, injen intake and TRD exhaust combo,i would love to hear them, or meagan headers. Thanks all and Happy New Year!

if you want to keep your car N/A you're taking the right route... my only advice would be to look into other sources for your purchases.

If you're willing to buy from a previous owner you can make big savings by purchasing things like exhaust and header used.

When it comes to the intake, one isn't going to be leaps and bounds above the others. Injen is good, but if you can save $50 bucks with a brand like Fujita go for it.

Be sure and check with sellers here

CarCandy is a sponsor and may be able to give you good prices if you send him a PM or work into a group buy.

that sounds like a good fool proof method however it seems your over analyzing a bit. im not saying go with ebay parts but combining everything that has the most dyno gains still wont give you that much of a noticible difference!

Thanks for your help. I PM-ed carcandy. Iam looking to get the most performance out of my car that i can, so i am looking for the best possible combo! However i understand what your saying about the intakes and 1-2 hp gains are unnoticable. What is the general consensus on the weapon R header then?

If your looking to get the most power and performance that you can why are you going N/A? It is gonna cost a pretty penny and there will be a ton of work involved to create any major power.

I haven't heard any complaints about the weapon-r header. The Tsudo 4-2-1 is a copy of the weapon-r so keep that in mind when you're pricing them out. Sounds like you found a good price though.

I have the weapon-r intake, and I love it. That with a 4-1 header provides considerable gains on the top end. Throw in a pulley, and you get back the low end torque that you lose with a 4-1. It's kinda the best of both worlds. So think that over too

ditch the TRD exhaust, you'll get more power from something else. other than that, you are off to a good start with those

So what if my girlfriend drives a Supra, I'm sexier than she is! No... I'm not...

Okay so I have the Agency power crank pulley so it should help my lower end grunt. Why lose the TRD? Is there an exhaust out there that will provide that much more power to me, and not be real raspy?
I also drive this car everyday and want it to sound mean, but not in your face raspy! Any suggestions?

When you get a header, the TRD exhaust is going to get raspy, especially if you don't get a resonator.
