Is there such a thing as cheap rims. idealy id want 18 inch black rims but I dont have a grand or even $800 for them. any off brands recomended? more or less what rims do you guys have... and if you were to suggest a good rim for a white tc what would it be.

you wont really find 18's for under 800.. maybe 17s even then they wont be nice for now you could powder coat your stock rims black for around 150-200.. then save for the rims you want.

you get what you pay for. go with cheap wheels and you will bend them on the first bump you hit. you might not bend the wheel itself but you will bend the lip the first time you hit that bump on the highway that you didn't know was there. if you can't afford them right now just take what money you have and set it aside. keep adding to it until you do have enough to buy a nice set of wheels. you will be much happier if you do so.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.

Ahh you can definitely find a set of 18" rims for under $800. (Just the rims though, I doubt you'll get the tires includes for that price)

Heres what popped up when I searched "car rims" in google:

Definitely check out the online classifieds, the forums here and Scion Life.

There was a user here that was selling all her 18 inch Enkei Super 7s for 300 bucks total!

It got snagged really quick! Get looking!

I'd also check out edgeracing.com. They are actually a little cheaper then wheelsnext.com.. They do all the same stuff just that you have to pay for shipping.. but even with shipping they arent as expensive still.. so that might be a good place to check out as well

For all you people who got a great deal on your wheels, please post where you got them, haha! That would be most helpful.

ebay, but i think the seller made a mistake when he listed my ADR Sterling 19x9 with 2½" lip for 400, cuz the rest of his 19s were 800+. i took full advantage and bought it right away before it could be changed

try discounttire.com, they have a couple of in-house lines starting at $90 or so, but 18's, remember that you will need new tires as well.
