take out the swith panel, find the harness and slice into the brown wire, that'll give you ignition power.. |

You want to run that wire to any 12V source that is only hot when the ignition is on. For example, the radio. You can turn the ignition on and off and search with a multimeter in the fuse box also. Put the black lead of the multi-meter or voltmeter on any ground like the vehicle frame, and probe in the fuse box until you find a 12V source that is only on when the key is turned to on. If you are going to splice into any source that is already being used for some other device in your car, I would suggest putting in a fuse in-line that is 5 amps higher than the expected draw of your gauges. ![]() |

^x2, although through slicing essentially the damage has been done, lowering of resistance, interruption in insulation, etc...nevertheless, it's the price you pay to party...! |

No need to slice. Go to autozone and buy a mini ADD A FUSE. Open up the fuse box under your dash. FInd one like was explained that turns off with the ignition. I cant think of any off the top of my head, but I think one is marked as accesories. now plug your add a fuse in and you now have power!!! If you want them to come on only with your headlights being on, then yes, you will have to splice into the wiring that controls power to the headlights. I might redo mine that way. Which gauge pod did you get? |

It shoudl look like this. Plugs into the original fuse spot. Put the priginal fuse in, plus the fuse that is needed for the guages. The wire coming from it just crimps onto the red power from the gauge. |

Yes you can. Just make sure you dont exceed the fuse, or you will continue blowing fuses. If each fuse pulls, say 3-4amps and you run 3 gauges, you should put say a 15amp fuse in. (not sure what gauges you have, so I dont know how many amps they pull) |
