Hey everyone, I have a quick question about putting a racing steering wheel in my tC. I really want to do it after driving my brothers Acura RSX Type S around for awhile. I love the look/feel of it. My question is, is there anyway to get a racing steering wheel without losing the drivers side airbag? I am guessing not but just thought I would check. As much as I would want one I would rather keep the airbag and stay safe!!! p.s. I think this thread would belong here?? If not mod's feel free to move it. K thanks |

no it doesn't exist. you either have to stick with the stock or go to a complete raceing wheel which is illegal in all states as far as i know. Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted. UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches. It's actually not legal for anybody but OEM manufacturers to produce air bag safety devices due to the high risk of the device. Not to mention the testing requirements that would need to be done to validate the air bag. I know from working for Chrysler that just one front impact sled test costs around 250,000.
