Wow guys great answers, I appreciate your all inputs. Whats the difference between BOV and Bypass valve ?

BOV's usually vent the air to atmosphere.

Bypass or diverter valves redirect air upstream back into the intake plenum.

Bypass valves are better for cars with AFM's like the Scion, because the AFM has already measured the amount of air taken in. BOV's that vent to atmosphere will lose that metered air and your mixtures will get screwy...

If you go with the right ECU, then it will use a MAP sensor in the intake manifold and you can do away with your AFM. Then it won't matter if you use a BOV, because the air isn't metered until it's enetered the intake manifold. At that point, it won't matter what happened in the intake plenum.

sounds good I actually want to be at 300 WHP , not more then 320 at 9 psi and 240-250 at 5 psi. The reason is because i want to keep the car for a looooong time as a wuick daily driver and around 2011 get a new Camaro SS for my weekend fun pretty much i'm keeping tC to keep the miles low on camaro.

Hmm and i actually thought that to run 2 different psi levels i will need 2 maps. am i wring ? i 'm trying to run 5 psi daily and like 9psi when at the track or racing someone. I'm sure they will be surprised.

You can do that, but you're going to need electronic boost control.

To change boost control with a manual boost controller will mean changing the spring every time you wanna change boost levels.

Make sure the ECU you choose can support EBC.

Actually, these are things I need to investigate as well for my car. My plan was to have one fuel/timing MAP that's tuned for boost all the way up to 20 lbs. Then I adjust the spring in the manual boost controller to give me like 12 lbs for everyday driving, and then adjust for 18 lbs for ramp runs or fun runs or something... Either way, the ECU will handle the ratios whatever boost level it sees.

i am gonna say no.... you dont need to change the spring everytime you wanna change boost levels?!?! most manual boost controlers are like knobs, one full tun to the right equals one full psi increase, and one full turn to the left equals one less psi.

make sure you get a good name air fuel gauge like the aem uego wideband controller.. and i personally havent dealt with the glow shift gauges but ive heard they are not as acurate as others. remember you get what you pay for. dont cheap out on the monitoring system (the gauges) of you major investment(the turbo kit)!

Well i'm definetly not gaoing with their gauges, iw as think about their gauge pod, if its actualy 100% fit or not. I'll just probably go with autometer.

its not so much about number is your case because you have an automatic. for you i wouldnt exceed 290 horespower.. i think thats more than enough on the auto and thats is kinda what you want to look at really.

automatic , hmm honestky i'm not sure and i dont want to lead you in the wrong directions , but i think you will be very close to around 260-270 myabe more. Better talk to Todd from whyindustries.com he actually the one who makes this kit. Very nice guy too. He said that at around 9-10 psi with MT the kit will perform very close to 300 whp.

I'm also going to run Dezod 2.5 inch turbo back exhaust which adds like 20-30 whp.
