Longer start of ignition after intake

After u guys installed a intake did u notice it takes longer to start the ignition. with stock intake it took about 1 second but with the injen it takes about 2-3 seconds. this is normal right?

if it took 2 seconds to start your car with the stock intake, you already had a problem. Your engine should only really take about a second of grind time before it starts.

Mine start right up with the injen hardly a delay at all, if any.

YES!!! omg i have been sain this for two months and my bf thinks im crazy...sometimes my car wont even start it will take about 3 times to get it going

if ur car doesnt start then theres something wrong its not the intake

well i kinda exagerated. there is only a slight delay. but a noticeable delay from stock. is this normal?

make sure the mass air flow sensor isnt loose. even try sprayin the connector with wd-40. i know at work when i have a MAF off and start a car it takes a bit to start, then it shuts off.

DO NOT USE WD-40!! You'll run the risk of dissolving the diaphragm inside the MAF. Use intake cleaner or maf cleaner. Also, make sure you didnt forget to disconnect all of the vacuum hoses.
