Ok, so i was rotating my tires. I was tightening a lug nut and the screw freakin broke off!!! i was like, wtf. so is it ok to just drive around with 4 screws holding the tires or should i get that fixed?

u can drive like that. u can drive with 3. it wont hurt anything. but i would get it fixed when u can.

i mean, if its not gonna hurt anything, i might just superglue the lugnut for looks, unless it can be fixed for cheap. how would someone fix something like this? weld it? dont they have to replace the whole part?

Actually, there's a certain bolt pattern for a reason. It helps balance the rotation of the hub. With one missing, the balance will be off and can effect your wheel bearing if left alone for a few thousand miles. I'd get a new wheel stud and replace it as soon as you can.

It's nothing that's going to happen over night, but the off-balance effect will NEGATIVELY effect your wheel bearing by causing it to spin at a slight off angle.

i see wheel studs on ebay. if i buy one, can i do it myself with just hand tools?

nvm, i saw some DIY's online. apparently, breaking wheel studs are pretty common. thanks for the help guys

autozone or orielys usually has them. u can do it yourself with hand tools, but usuing an impact wrench will work out way better
