ok...so this is an old video of when my car was next to stock. the only thing it had done to it at the time was springs, strut bar, and the evo 2 exhaust.

i was at a friends house and only had the car for a couple of months. my friends wanted to see what kind of burnout it could do so i said sure. this is the only time i've done a burnout like this in my car. just thought i would share it with you guys.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.

well now the only time i do a burnout is when i go to the track. then it is just enough to warm the tires up some and thats it. since i run my street tires at the track i have to be easy on them. well sorta...lol.

LOL that is sick. I was at one of the race meets and this guy in a mustang was doing doughnuts. Suddenly one of his tires blew out. We found out later it was a brand new Saleen Mustang that belonged to his grandmother.

yeah how do you do a burnout? Do you need like bald tires to be able to do it because I just got new tires and they never spin out haha

no it was actually getting late in the evening when i did it so nobody was asleep...lol. i was in front of a friends house when i did it. the people on that street are use to it. the guy that lives next to him had a muscle car that he always did burnouts in front of his house. it was a game they played. he had muscle and my buddy has a wrx.

doing the burnout is easy. just yank the e-brake to start. put the car in first gear obviously. rev the engine up to about 3500-4000rpm and just dump the clutch. keep on the gas. don't hold it to the floor because you don't want to bounce it off the rev limiter.

just kind of feather on and off of the gas at the higher rpm's to keep it spinning. if you need to turn the steering wheel back and forth a little to keep the tires from pulling the car down the street but shouldn't need to be done. once you have done it as long as you want just let off the gas and ride it out. no the tires do not need to be bald.

however, be warned so this does not come back on me. if you mess up your car trying this it is your fault. if you do not know how do it it properly i do not recommend that you do it. if you do make sure nothing is in front of you that could be hit in the event that the car does move forward. also make sure that no persons are standing in front of you. be careful as to how long you do the burnout. if you don't have enough tread the tires will pop. if this happen it can and probably will mess up the fender on the car.
