So for my next mod, i have plans to put some blue lighting in my rear hatch to show off my set up, and also to have some kind of light back there, since the custom enclosures i had made cover up the side light switch....So i was wondering what do you all think would be a good LED lighting set up that would be ideal for my rear hatch area, and also where would be the best place to fit it at, here's my set up:

id say u can try running the flexibile led strips from oznium along the edge of the truck, you can tuck it along the edges so wen u open the trunk it will glow....

ps still love ur sub setup

hey thanks i never thought of using their flexibile led strips, i thought my only option would probably be was to use their cathodes, but i know those would probably be difficult to mount, and would stick out.

yea they have the thin strips too, either or would give off a good amount of light and should be fairly easy to install and set into the edges cleanly....

also idk how it would look, but i was lookin at ur pics...you could also do the smaller strips behind the subs, so that it glows from behind them as well...that might look pretty nice also...really have ur hatch glowing

They were custom made to fit exactly in that spot, then i had them painted the same paint code as my exterior..did not want to go the carpeted big box route..its been done too much

I have flexible strips in my engine bay. They are really thin and when my hood is popped and the lights are on, you have no idea where the lights are coming from because all you can see is the glow. It looks pretty sweet. So if you are looking to achieve this same thing in your hatch, go with the same strips!

installing those led strips, would i be able to just split them with my 12v cable to my amp or do i have to run another wire to my battery?

Run another wire to the battery. You don't want to take any power away from your amp even though LED's don't draw all that much power. You should always do it individual rather than trying to take an easy route.
