A 7 inch wheel can only hold a 225mm wide tire at MOST. If you have a 245 on there, it's bubbling out to an unsafe range and you are risking a blow out badly.

to run anything wider then 225 you need wider rim, 235 require at least 7,5 and 245 at least 8 inch.

What people "CAN" do and what is "SAFE" are 2 totally different things. Sure, you can stretch a 245 on a 7" rim....the fact is that it's not safe b/c it's putting added stress on the integrity of the tire. More stress equals more weak spots.

235's for me.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.

Yeah, I'm running 235/40/18's on the stock upgrade enkei's, and I wouldn't go any wider then that. You really shouldn't go more then one size higher or lower then the recommended.

Wow that is not safe AT ALL! I'm running a 225/35 on my front 8" rim and a 235/40 on the rear 9". 245 tires are for 8.5+ rims man. Be careful driving on those as you risk the tire rolling off the rim due to stretching them to fit.
