 im thinking of painting my stock wheels but cant decide wat color. i dont wanna do black cuz it too common, i wanna do something different an unique. my car is csm. any suggestions?

 gunmetal... or you can go crazy and do green or like a DARK red or... bright blue haha

 I've always thought that there are few colors that wheels look really good in. But, that's just my taste personally. It all comes down to what YOU want to see on your car, I will give you a few pointers that may help you though.

1) I'd stay away from bright, obnoxious colors as they only look good in movies and games, they look ridiculous on the road.

2) Use a color that accents what your car already has or what you plan to do to it. If it has vinyls or particular engine accent color, consider that color. (e.g. - blue interior and/or blue engine accents = blue wheels make sense)

3) Painting wheels the same color as the body always looks good in my eyes except in your case the wheels mostly are the same color for the most part already.

4) You want to get a color that looks good but also a color that makes sense, nothing looks more ridiculous then a car that has different color wheels for no apparent reason.

There's a few tips for you, although keep in mind those are just guidelines that I personally use. It all comes down to personal preference, you own the car so your opinion matters more then anyone else's.

 Do what i did before the gunmetal with a lip...it will take time but will look good...I got sick of them so now i have all gunmetal and blue lugs....heh c heres my old pic

 ^^ i dunno about bronze on a CSM, it might look kinda fudgy lol. but maybe not. i've seen bronze on silver on a few subies and i didn't like it personally. IMO, gunmetal looks good on silver. maybe black too

 those rims look sweet. i like the lighter broze/gold on the silver... not so much the darker deeper gold, but thats just my opinion

 thanks everyone. i'll take pics for sure when i get them. they're 18's btw. im not gonna put them on yet though. i bought them without tires and i still gotta wait till the spring. snow and salt on the streets really sucks here in chicago.
