I was browsing the net and found this write up on how to fix a scratch. it's a good read so i'll post it here for those who are the DIY types . i'm gonna pick up some supplies and try it tomorrow if it's not raining still.

I wonder if the same could be applied for chips...damn car wash...my bumper got some chips in her, and I ordered some touch up. I will post a review when I fix them up using this method.

Wow very useful. I'd love to do this myself but I'd be too scared to. I'd definitely need someone who did it before to help me out so I could at least see how it's done. Last thing I want is to fudge it up and regretting it.

just a little info for ya. before you try this on your own car i would try it on something else because if ya dont know what you are doing this little scratch can cost you alot of money because you can very easily sand right through the clear coat and start sanding into the base coat and if that happens then you will have to take it to a body shop to get them to repair it. just thought id let ya know

Yeah that's why I'd rather have someone who's done this before help me with this cause the last thing I wanna do is screw something up.

ya i dont think i trust myself that much w/ a brand new car lol. i'd rather have the body shop do it cause then if they screw up i can yell at them instead of blaming myself hehe
