do you have your license? get your license, then start off with a beater thats either 600, 750cc's at most. you get the hang of it quick so in a few months after that, save up and get yourself a 1000

that brand hasnt made a big name for themselves so i would stay away (im korean by the way). if you absolutly want to get a bike and have gotten over how impractical they are, go with yamaha or kawasaki

you might drop it once or twice, but only for the first couple of days. you get used to it fast. trust me, 600 is not fast

wait a minute, how much are you looking to spend? if gas is your reason, dont get a motorcycle. after all, buying a motorcycle is more expensive than paying for higher gas prices in the end, dont forget high insurance premiums too.

lol, what are you talking about? you can get a decent used bike for $3,000-$4,000. and insurance?? insurance is only $800 a yr and your covered for 8/12 months

I do have to say that getting a bike is something you should do but take it slow on one for a couple of weeks until you get use to it. I love mine and I will most likely get another one when I get back.

^ Oh man, 1300ccs of pure beast. Let me put that in a perspective that we car owners understand: 1.3L!

If you want a bike, get a Hayabusa

dude, im in FL, and we dont require insurance for bikes. so i wont be buying any. and i would be spending around $3000-$4000 for a bike, i wont be buying anything like a freakin Hyboosta! but i MIGHT get an R6 at MOST. cause i know a few people that HAS passes away FROM a bike crash..... but i still want one. they passed b/c they were being stupid on it, either going too fast, or running reds.

BUT i might go find a 250cc to start with, and keep it for about a year or so, then i will go ahead and get a bigger bike.

To tell you the truth I think that a 600cc would be a better starter bike. It’s big enough so that when you do get a bigger bike it won’t be a huge difference in the weight and easer for you to transition to a more powerful bike.

OH Yeah you’ll be popping willies in a matter of weeks, it takes some time to get use to turning. There was a couple of time I ended up on the other side of the road into on coming traffic. ^_^ Now that was FUN and scary!!! Do you have your Bike License?

"we dont require insurance for bikes. so i wont be buying any"

If you do that, you are a complete idiot. Get an older 600 to start out on and take an MSF. And get insurance. Dont be a fool

And yes most accidents are when people get stupid. But there are alot of accidents that the person in the car "didnt see" the motorcycle or something in the road takes someone down.
