my tC has been dropped on s-techs for about a year and a half.. ive noticed that the insides of my tire are more worn out than the outer.. i know that a camber kit can fix this but i cant seem to find the right one?

i searched and seen "bolts" then "plates" but im not sure which one i need. can anyone chime in on this for me please? also if you do have a front kit how hard was install?

please and thank you

u need the hotchkis rear camber links kit .. i have it.. and it saved my tires .. id get it installed by a pro shop because they have to adjust them just right and then alignment.

before you go to get camber links, i'd check your alignment. having improper toe will cause your tires to wear much faster and unevenly. i only say this because i've been lowered on stechs for over a year now and i don't have uneven wear at all. i don't have camber links but i did get an alignment about 2 weeks after i installed the springs

dont the stock chamber kits have enough travel to adjust? I have h-techs and I still have to go in to get the tires aligned

they have enough adjustment in front but in the rear with stechs there's not enough. im still a little bit outside the proper camber settings

i'd go check it again. i get an alignment every time i rotate my wheels since i have lifetime alignments from firestone

In the front only Toe is adjustable not camber, the kit looks like 2 giant bolts with washers, nothing more, they have ones that have 1 degree adjustment and ones that have 2 degrees.

each "kit" comes with 2 bolts, so to do both front wheels you need 2 "kits" Ingalls and progress tech make them.

there is also a company called SPC that makes the camber bolts for the TC they claim 1 "kit" can do both sides (1 bolt each on the bottom strut slot) according to them each bolt has 1.75 degrees of adjustment.

IN the rear the stock bolt has 1.25 degrees of adjust.
the Hotchkiss camber arms will give you 3 degrees total in combination with the stock bolts.

the SPC camber arms will give you 2 degrees total in combination with the stock bolts.

Ok, now im starting to get a lil worried!

I know to wait 2 weeks after I install them for an alignment, but should I also get a camber kit as well so I wont run into thread loss in the future?

Also, how often should I get an alignment?
