First off, welcome to the community (I'm a new member too)! Next I have two questions about your exhaust. First, how much of a pain and hassle was it to have it converted to a dual? Second, how does it sound? Do the dual pipes make it sound more aggressive or tone it down?

Looking Good Welcome to the site. What does your logo mean?

As for the next mod: header and pulley FTW

I like the look of the exhaust. Doesn't do anything performance-wise, but its very sexy!

Hi bro! Nice to meet u, r u in Houston? Ok to answer your question, my friend owned a exhaust and tuned shop, so it not that hard to put it in. The look is unique and the sound awesome. It sound low n quite but when u step on the gas it sound like g35 exhaust, it not rice at all. im loving it!

Very good to hear I've always loved the look of a dual exhaust on the tC. It's one of the things I'd like to do to mine (once I finally get it in December) And yes, I'm in "Houston", on the west side in Katy actually.

Not to jump on the new guy, but a dual setup is 100% for aesthetic value on a TC. We have one header. There is no such thing as an axleback system that shows a gain of 15hp. Its not physically possible to get that kind of gain out of an exhaust w/ our engine stock and especially running the stock header. Don't get me wrong, I really like the look of it, but unless it has some type of mini turbo in that muffler, the actual gains to the wheels aren't going to come even close to that. Stock tc is 135hp to the wheels. Even w/ intake, header, s-pipe, midpipe, axle back, and a pulley, the most you'll get is 25-30 hp. You're not getting half of that gain from the axle back. 5 tops.

Thanks for the comment, u was right. I say 15 hp not 15 whp( there is a big different) My exhaust is series 40( the one pp use to put on there Camero) So like i say my friend he owed exhaust shop, he ran straight pipe all the way down from the header, plus use small inlet to my muller( to eliminate the loss off back pressure), so my exhaust is dual how ever to keep plenty off back pressure due to straight pipe n smaller inlet. Like i say 15 hp= 8-10 whp. I have to change my injen intake in next week, when im done i may run another dyno to prove it if u want to see. But any way im don't like header, make my exhaust sound rice. I rather turbo my car then run with all the small set up.!!! where u guy locate Houston? we should meet up some time Im in Katy.

Yeah man, i know what you mean about that header. I don't have one personally but, there's always alot of talk about how to get the perfect set-up for a "non-ricey" exhaust tone.

But good luck with that set-up

hey dude how is it going. car looks good. honestly i've never been much for dual exhaust on our cars but yours is clean. i would have to say that i would need to see a dyno sheet though.

if you are running straight pipes and looking for a header you will need to put in a resonator or it will give it a rice sound.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.
