ok well i been contemplateing about this for sometime now. im curious as far as wat to look for in the HIDs as far as wich set to get (6k-14k) is there one kit thats a differnt color? i seen some being a blue ish and some being a purple. and also if i were to get a set of red angel eyes wuld my HID's over power the red completly or wuld i be looking at a pink set up? but mostly over all i wanna get peoples opinion as far as wich set is better i seen alot of 8k's but i read on here i think some1 complaining how the visibility was somewat poor. so ya'll let me know. this is something im just doing research on before i head off to bed.

12000k is very blue with purple...probably almost full purple. if you're looking for blue with a hint of purple you're looking at 8000k HIDs. if you have red CCFL halos then they may look pink in the light of the HIDs. i have 6000k HIDs and white halos and the color is still vivid even with my HIDs on

the higher kelvin rating you go, the lower the visible lumen output you get. 6000k is the best mix between looks and performance(lumens wise). also if you live where it rains a lot, higher kelvin HIDs will make it harder to see through the rain if it's heavy

^^ in heavy rain it's harder to see. they put out less visible light

lol and if i beleived in coincidences i wuld consider this one but the thread for the HID's for sale just poped up to the top again but i think by the pics im likeing the 8k blue kit. im thinking after the thanksgiveing holidays i might be putting in an order for them. another question since im too lazy to look it up. how do i install it? if any1 can direct me to a thread with the procedure i wuld greatly appreciate it. or if u can tell me in here then thats even better

rain is not an issue with me. i bought a pair of Julbo sunglasses i cant remember the name of the lens i got but everything turns to a jack daniels color so everything is a picture perfect even dureing heavy rains so i just put them on they might look a little silly coz i have a thing for circle lenses lol. so they kinda extrude a little much but who cares they serve there purpose

If you are going with Red Angel Eyes, I almost feel like a 4300k which would be just a white would look the best.

Oh ya as for instructions on how to put in HIDs, this will pretty much give you a good idea of how it all goes in.
