My insurance after that accident that destroyed the tC is WAY to high for a new car or any w/in the last 3 or 4 years. 
The good news is there r a cpl of 83-85 corolllas on sale in the area, so... AE86, trueno, etc. here I come.

AE86?! are you serious? those things go for around 8K don't they?
that would be crazy, maybe you could get a 1J in that thing.

The rims look like cheese graters b4 the accident, even worse after,
I was still kinda pissed at myself when I saw it at the salvage yard so I took nothin' but the ez stuff, sub, amp, etc. My friend gave me a ride in his Accord, so not much room anyways.
As far as the new car goes, the 2 or 3 I looked at were already somewhat modified, after purchasing, unless I can get more from the loan, not much will be done 'til I get over the hill that the accident created.
I also cant really say for sure if they r true AE86, but I'm not looking for a purebreed, just fun and reliable transportation.

Since I was makin' monthly payments, the value is gettin paid by the insurance and GAP is covering the rest.
I won't even tell u all what my new insurance was quoted at, so I'm buying used.

or maybe if you can stretch a bit, find a used ITR lol. not sure what your budget is. AE86 would be a sweet ride for sure though

Thats what I thought, I'm kinda movin away from fwd if I gotta buy used, and insurance sux on an used integra, 1 of the most stolen cars. But, thx for the suggestion.

yah i just looked at the pricing on the ITR. for a start there was only one for sale in my market and it was like 22k haha. bit too much. well GL on whatever you choose to go with and post pics when you get it

There's a nice hachi for sale here for 5 grand.. Been tempted to buy that for my project car instead of working on the tC

240-260z has been the 1 I've wanted for awhile, but I don't want it for my main transportation. It would be nice to have 1 for a track car though.
