 Does anyone know how much it would cost to get a automatic transmission swapped over to a manual transmission?? Also if anyone in maryland that would know any good places to do it??

 Ive heard that, too, that it would cost alot... then again, my friends over in S.A., this one dude, trying to put a V8 engine into a tC. Of course, he would have to change the front part of the car completely to have that done. Ive heard... as far as like changing a auto to a standard, is like $3000. Of course, thats by word of mouth. DON'T BET ON IT

 you can come pretty close to breaking even if you do it yourself and have a lot of tools. For example, it may cost 800 - 1000 bucks for a manual tranny, but you can sell your auto for maybe 500-700

 Thanks trinisito!! But def rather trade in the ride than go get that done ..lol.. Way too much money!! But o well .. my car i still love it .. just figured i would see if anyone knew what it would cost to get a manual swap!! But def aint forkin over that much!! Will just have to see bout gettin some insights on some people i know in shops!! lol

 This has been talked about soooo much.I've been considering it myself and to those that say just trade... look at my carv NO WAY im trading it. it takes about 3-5 days and about price range varies depending if parts are bought new or from a wrecked TC. Hope this helps.

 Its way too much work, i did it on an s10 and never really got it to work the way i thought it should and ended up puttin the auto back in. It cost alot of money even with a donor truck. Unless your TC isnt a daily driver and u have lots of time to wait and money to burn it isnt worth the trouble.

This is why i dont put so much money into my car becuase if you trade it in you get nothing out of it and then they'll just sell it for double. i look around to get good prices, trade, looks i've put about $300 into my car and its already tinted, lowered, rims,tires LED lights, car looks great
