I was very influenced by my cousin and step-dad, they told me a few things about cars I had seen and some of the die-cast cars I had also. I got to ride in a lotta cool stuff as a kid. It was official when I got my 1st subscription to mag, Road & Track... for my 12th birthday.

Showed me GRAN TURISMO 1, and his father had a 1992 Nissan pickup with a Camaro engine which we stole at age 12 and took it for a spin lol luckily we didnt crash which was a 5 speed but yeah i was a Honda fan at early age always wanted a Type R intrega but later i learned fell in love with the Toyota AE86 which he owns,+ Toyota is better since we haved been shown after,after again Supra,MR2,tC etc. lol

Crash Clovis New Mexico, US Godlike Advisor	I guess I have been in to cars pretty much my whole life. As far as actually working on them and modding, my tC did that for me. Im still pretty damn new to all of this stuff. My 300zx only had exhaust and intake on it, so I plan on going further with this car. chinky_tc Florida, US Scion Guru	my dad also got me into cars, when i was like 13, my dad's friend gave me a old Toyota Cressida, it has a supra motor in it the car was busted, so my dad and i took it apart and rebuilt the motor and all of the inside. shortly after that, i found a CRX that i got for $500 and rebuilt that motor, and put a roll cage in it, then i crashed itthank God i put that cage in and i went through like 8 more cars, and now i got my tC!!!

We always used to get the family together and take all the Vette's out on a cruise together. I always got excited when i was little and that's what got me started -BearZ Rules!

imallama California, US Oil Changer	honestly, i used to hate working on cars. ever since i was little my dad would make me work on the car with him on saturday mornings. instead of being able to watch cartoons, i was learning how to do basic maintenance on a car. i didn't start getting into cars until high school where one of my friends drove a 470 whp integra gsr =] her brothers rebuilt the engine and everything, and lemme tell you, riding in that car when the turbo hit was a feeling like no other. it made me giggle like a little girl lol. but after that i just started to gather up tidbits of info here and there. i honestly just started getting into cars within the past 2 years. but now that i'm into cars my dads bugging me about fixing up his porsche.

SammieD Mooresville North Carolina, US Detailer	Mine infatuation started when I was about 2. My dad took me to a car show that they have twice a year here at the Lowes Motor Speedway... we were walking around looking at all the old cars and there were stricly 4 cars I pointed to and told my daddy to buy me when I got older (one was a 49 Pontiac, one was a 67 Baracuda, one was a 69 GTO and the last one was a 71 Charger) well yeah, I have never had any of those (but will have at least one before I die) but ever since then, its just been a thing I have in my blood. My dad and I just hang out and talk cars...love it. I havent really been into imports until recently when I got my tC (minus my first car which was a fully restored 86 Alfa Romeo Spider 5-speed-totaled by a 80 year old lady in a Buick who hit me) but I am venturing into a new breed with tuners which is just awesome and fun! To turn out something that is completely unexpected..its like art. (will always be a huge fan of the classics though..i love the sound of a heavy cam with 115 octane running thru the lines and wheelies going down a drag strip O.o). I have been into domestics (well, mainly GM- 2nd car was a Pontiac Sunfire, 3rd car that I traded for the tc was a Pontiac G6 GTP-I got magazine coverage with that one-will be out early next month) but my husband and I are surrounded by friends who moddify cars where as we so its just basically been in my life since the day my dad introduced me to it.

Stolen Savannah Georgia, US Window Washer	Don't hate me for being cheesy, but the Fast and the Furious is what really got me into cars. At first it was more of just how they looked: sick rides slammed to the ground. After I bought my first car (1987 Chrysler Conquest TSi, widebody turbo 4cyl, 5 speed) I got into having to work on it because in all honesty it was a total piece. I spent more money on just keeping the car running than I could on anything to beef it up. It was actually one particular moment w/ that conquest that really got me into modding. I had just finished replacing a warped head and had gotten everything hooked back up and was taking it for a test drive when my brother and some girl friend of his were coming outside to go somewhere (he drove a 94 Dodge Daytona that he put dual exhaust and some other stuff on). He asked me if I wanted to race so of course being a guy I said hell yes. So with nearly bald tires and a small turbo leak (but a brand new topside on the engine) we lined up at the stop sign down the road. I roasted the rear tires and when they caught it was all gone from there. Smoked him to the end of the street til I hit about 105 then had to back off because of the was turbo bogging out. I guess to sum the story up, what really got me into going fast was the look on that girl's face when my bro finally caught up.

Blckdouttc Trumbull Connecticut, US Master Mechanic	i've loved cars for as long as i can remember. it started i think around like 7 or 8, i would just know every single car on the road, if my parents liked a car they'd ask me and i'd be like oh thats so and so and tell them features, hp, and all the good stuff. around 10 or 11 i started getting the mod bug, getting into "street racing type cars" so to say. mods like exhaust, rims, paint and that stuff. i still have the notebook of like 2 or 3 cars i wanted with like over a page list of mods that i wanted in it, which looking back at now, were not ricy, but f and f style, which some i like, but i never wanted graphics or anythning like that. i wanted a 2003 style eclipse, or an integre, both with page full of mods. its pretty cool actually and have pretty much legit mods on them. then i started seeing very few tc's around my town right around when i waws gettin my liscence, and was basically begging my parents for one. they would always give me the same shpeal about how they want a family third car that every one could drive and i would always argue to death about how i would always be driving the same car to school, hockey and so one most of every day, then finally they agreed to go drive one and my mom loved it, the next day they got home and my dad said lets go test drive one and i was like ok ill go wait outside and i walk out and there was my 3006 auto bsp tc!! it is auto cause no one in my family besides me can drive stick and they did surprise me with it so i am very grateful of them, but that didnt stop me from modding /story time 2006 BSP tC

manda234 East Greenwich Rhode Island, US Detailer	I've been into fast cars my whole life. I was really into my first car which was a Mits. Eclipse. I LOVED that car. Then I realized it was only a RS automatic. I then had a "truck" stage. I got a toyota tacoma. That shit would get me to any place in the woods i wanted. One day I took my truck into the dealership for some reason I saw my first TC. It was so cute! It was on the show room floor. I talked to my dealer about it and he said it would of been cheaper payments then the truck. so I got it that day. It was a great feeling at the first moment i saw the tc.
