not to mention the real drift king did the scene where the guy is learning to drift in the mountains they had to re shoot over and over because he was doing it right and they wanted him to do it as if he waas a novice

i hate the lifestyle that the fast and furious started. everytime i see a huge wing on a car i want to strangle someone. all of that stuff is past and done. very few cars that still do it can pull it off.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.

studios will never be interested making an honest film because those dont make any money. they will keep making f&f movies as long as they keep turning a profit. they could care less if it's not accurate.

here's what the producer is going to say before this film is made:

"get more girls with ass n' tits also make the cars look crazier."

no one goes to see this fluff purely for the racing. you might as well rent a documentary from some back alley video store.

fast and furious is intended to be nothing but eye candy and it succeeds at being just that.

To be perfectly honest. The tuner scene was dying out when the first movie was being produced. When it released it just put the final nail in the coffin.

The lifestyle was becoming mainstream, and the movie proved it.

does anyone else know that they intend on "fast and the Furious" to be a franchise name and not part of the title of movies? If you watch any interviews or look into those movies farther then just the cars and girls in skimpy outfits, that's what you will learn...it's just a franchise name. that's all...

If they want to get into another scene other than just the "tuner/ricer" scene, they need to move into the European market. Get out the Ferraris, Lambo, TVR, Renault....and have a Gumball rally type movie plot. On the way to the race end, multiple cars wreck, some win, parties are outragious....stuff like that.

That's my opinion. And yes...........make it REAL racing from point to point.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

Dude I use to get in trouble during english class for reading my car magazines instead of Hamlet. Next year will be 10 years that I have been out of school. Do the math. My dad use to take me to cruise in car shows when i was in elementary school. My dad drove a 67 chevy pickup with a 350 in it. I've been raised around cars and Harleys bud. So no Fast and Furious isn't what got me into cars.

wow looks like it's the same opinions from the nissans to here. On the other forums the guys are saying the same, more-so about the drifting but yeah, it'd help a lot more if they got people who are really into the scene, not just acting. like the bow wow guy, i mean everyone knows he has no idea whats going on, and it showed....

I seriously beg to differ. The 3rd one had, by far, the best racing scenes out of the 3 without some ridiculous "1/4 mile racing scene" that lasted for a good 2 minutes with them pressing nos and not being able to see a damn thing like the first one. The second one was just plain stupid.

^agree 100% with nickah. the 3rd one finally had 3 dimensional characters in it with a decent storyline without the terrible one-liners like "dude, i almost had you" i mean, would u really say that to someone after you blew up ur car? and would u say it smiling? sorry paul walker...but u suck!

Actors/Actresses are given the choice to read scripts before taking on the part though...

I seriously doubt he would turn down millions of $ for one stupid line. if he would have than he really is that stupid!

One of my best friends Tim, his car will be in the FnF4. Look for a R34 Skyline GTR VSPEC in Bayside Blue and youll see it.

Heres a link to his cardomain.

i'm aware that he was made to say that line. it just shows how poorly the script was written and how much of an overall bad movie it was

Then there's also the part in the second one where they are coming out of the police station and the guy is pushing him to talk about something and he's all "I said drop it ka" - He looks so rediculous saying that. The second movie was crap. As for the first one you cant really cut out the whole undercover cop thing because thats what the movie was about. The movie wasnt about street racing, it was about a guy going undercover in the street racing scene to catch a group of people stealing from truckers. Yes a more realistic movie about racing would be tight, but to say they should have cut out the entire plot of the first one wouldnt work. Would you really want to sit through 2 hours of Ja Rule, Vin Deisel, Michelle Rodriguez and Paul Walker trading "I'm-a-badass" one liners back and forth?
