3rd one was enjoyable, hopefully if they stick with actors who act, and they use consultant with actual car knowledge (I mean who double clutches in a car? A truck or bus, maybe...), it can be entertaining.

Because automotive transmission, even aftermarket performance transmissions, all have synchros, and double clutching becomes superfluous and can actually post slower times for the driver.

**edit**
unless of course you are in a dedicated race car...no synchros there, so then you d-clutch

F&F 4 will be great if they just get a different writer.

justin lin will be directing again. luckily. anyone that can take a script like tokyo drift and turn it into something watchable is a top shelf director. he also wrote and directed "better luck tomorrow" which is really good. he tends to use the same actors too so i wouldnt be surprised to see alot of the people returning from the 3rd one. paul walker and vin diesel are both rumored to be returning. personally id rather see lucas black but after "running scared" ive changed my opinion of paul walker.

If they made it more like the first one except with no under cover cops and more muscle cars it would be amazing. What I didnt like about the first one was they didnt spend enough time at race wars. I wish They showed him racing the orange supra, but they just forgot about it.

I have always liked the Fast and the Furious movies. I dont know about any of you but have you ever noticed that in intense race scenes they have what I like to call "the special gear". Pretty much the random gear that shouldn't be there that they always shift into that gives them a power boost.

wat they need to do is make it less about the story and more about the racing, it would also be nice to see race scenes that are more realistic....dont get me wrong i liked all three movies for the cars they had, but the racing wasnt enough....

fast and furious- the supra and the rx-7 should have went at it at some point or another

2fast 2 furious- WHY THE HELL WAS THE SKYLINE IN 1 SCENE? i did like the highway race tho, that was definitly entertaining (except for him driving in reverse)

tokyo drift- the best by far simply because it showed more driving ability and skill then any of the other 2. didnt like how they were drifting around cars (clearly fake)...it was definitly overkill...

for number 4 they need to make it about muscle, tuners, and exotics....but more REAL racing....

IMO of course!

sig compliments of nana...=)

no offense, but i disagree.
its a movie not a biography.
its not suppose to be real, ya know? i can understand to a point what u mean, but at the same time, its suppose to be entertainment for everyone.

Actually it wasnt fake, Justin Lin hates using cgi except to get camera angles that are otherwise impossible. Very little was used in tokyo drift. in fact all of the driving was in real time and not computer generated.

in tokyo drift there was one spot when they were drifting in the mountains that if you pay attention they do use some type of fake graffics because the cars speed up real fast past a turn then slow down again. but i think that was one of the spots for the impossible camera shot.

the rest of the drifting was real because millen was one of the stunt drivers along with a bunch of other drifters. in fact the real life drift king, the man that helped to originate drifting and make it what it is today even had a part in the movie. he was the fisherman sitting to the right of the screen when they were teaching the dude how to drift in the movie saying that he basically sucked.

i know its a movie and isn't suppose to be real but common the sound effects and visual effects in transformers was better than the first two movies. go back and watch the begining of the first movie when he is in the parking lot with his non turbo eclipse. count how many times he changes gears. he does it like 8 times. and when he pops the hood at the first street race for ja rule(still sucks at acting) you can clearly see that it only had an intake and no turbo.

in the second movie when they are all racing for the docks down the highway, that was the most fake thing i've ever seen in my life. since when the h*ll does an evo have the sound of an intake. it has a turbo. you don't get that intake sound when you have a turbo on the car. the list goes on and on. myself and my friends have picked every flaw in those movies out. it is a huge list.

i want to see someone do it right for once. i wont lie i do still watch all of them sometimes but even still it would be nice for someone who actually knows about cars to make the movie and use the real sound of the cars. don't put the sound of the car reving when it isn't. oh yea that was another part i thought was funny about the first one. who else noticed when he was going to drive the charger that the butterflys on the air scoop didn't match the reving. when the motor was reving up they were closed and opened when it was reving back down. completely a$$ backwards.

Car is being put on hold until further notice. Work will continue pending on if i get the new toy i want or not. I will keep you all posted.

UPDATE ON THE TUNE. It went ok but a few little issues that are causing my performance to be less than expected have shown themselves. Now I have to resolve them when I get the chance and it will be back to PTuning for the finishing touches.
