You’ve enjoyed seeing your favorite Photoshop artists create everyday pictures into works of art, some of it you proudly display as your signature on the forums, now it’s time for you to join in the action as a competitor in the first clubsciontc.com public Photoshop battle! Anyone can join in!!
SqMK has prizes to award as well as an exclusive award that will be placed in your profile. The winner will also have their artwork displayed on the front page of clubsciontc.com
This contest will be open to any clubsciontc.com user that wants to try out and win, all entries will be considered
All images will be posted on one thread and voted on by each user, each user will be able to cast one vote per user ID
CONTEST RULES
*contest officially starts September 29th, the image will be displayed for everyone to work on. The image has a resolution of 2100x1155 pixels and can be reduced down to 800x600, any images below 800x600 will not be accepted.
*contest will have a deadline of October 27th 2007 5:00 PM EST
*ONLY 2 submissions per artist (user) will be allowed, no more.
*You may alter the image in any style you design and at least 33% of the subject must remain, if judges can't tell what it is, your submission is void.
*only Adobe products will be allowed to alter images, computer generated 3-d images, or any auto-generated effects from non-Adobe products are not allowed
*only original works created by the posting clubsciontc.com user may be submitted. Any attempts to cheat or copy from another website will not only be rejected, but also humiliated.
*any contestant must be able to prove how they created the image if asked by judges/admin and be able to show proof if questioned, failure to do so will result in forfeit
*no submissions will be accepted after the deadline
*the panel of judges for this contest will be clubsciontc.com moderators and admin excluding any that have a Photoshop Badge.
*these contest rules are subject to change at any time and will be edited on this forum post when changed.
*you may create an image and display it immediately, however, each time an image is displayed, it will count as a submission, you may not display, edit, remove and redisplay. only 2 submissions per artist/user, exploitation of this will result in contest forfeit
*All images will now be judged based on categories, there is a chance for everyone to win in a category
the categories are as follows:
cleanness of image
complexity
overall artistic impression
*judges/admin retain the right to make exceptions and the final categories may change
Get your thinking caps on right now and get started, you have until October 27th 5:00 PM EST to have your image up and displayed
you may post your submissions as soon as you are done, it's your decision
