If only such a guide existed. I'm still looking for the holy grail of nitrous for the tC. I can't figure out how to tee the fuel line. I want to replace it and tee that, but i don't know how to take the ends off of the stock one. Worse yet, i can't find a location for my solenoids! Answer me, clubtc, have i just thrown 640$ to the wind? |

What kind of kit do you have? A car is only as good as it's driver. |

I can still ask him questions for you. He's no longer on this site, but I still talk to him every once in a while. I'll see if he can't write something up and send it to me when I talk to him next for you. ![]() "Ya'll in to racing? Me, I'm at the finish line." -Lil Wayne |

This would rock hard. For those of you who are interested, i bought a zex wet kit, so the solenoids and tps switch and whatnot are mounted in the little zex box. "I say never use nitrous." Don't post in this thread unless you've got something constructive to say, kthx. |

Okay cool, I'll tell him. I'll just tell him to get on and write it in the post for you, I'm sure he wouldn't mind ![]() "Ya'll in to racing? Me, I'm at the finish line." -Lil Wayne |

Thank you missautobahn and orin. Wow is this forum helpful, i'm not used to getting this kind of treatment. Missautobahn, please do what you can to get in contact with tc_by_trd. I'll shoot him a quick pm as well. Seriously, thanks guys. If everything works out well i'll be juiced by wednesday. (also thanks to tc_by_trd's older posts for giving me a clever idea on how to engage nitrous) |

Anytime. I'd give him about a week or so because he's out of the country and is always busy, but he likes to answer nitrous questions He's a good teacher of how to drive with nitrous, he taught me And feel free to ask any question any time... if we can't answer it, we'll do our best to find some who will! ![]() "Ya'll in to racing? Ok, i'm assuming you've got nitrous on your tc then. Did you do the install yourself or have someone help you? And do you have any pictures of your engine bay detailing locations of solenoids or fuel tee's? I can wait a week for tc_by_trd if it comes to that, but i'd really like to start installing real components soon. |

I'm guessing you are looking for a place to install the line for the fuel solenoid, right? You should use the schroeder valve on the fuel rail for that part. Where are you installing the jet? I'm assuming in the intake, right? |

I don't think that there's a schrader valve to tap in to on the tc, that's why i'm thinking of tee-ing the fuel line. And yes, i'm installing the jet in the intake tube, not on the intake manifold. |

No valve? That's really wierd. Granted I don't have a tC yet (I'm waiting on the GF's car to keel over and die) so I can't look at the fuel rail for sure. There has to be one somewhere. How else would you check fuel pressure? |

I'm pretty sure there's no schrader valve. I'll take a series of pictures of the tc's engine bay for you when i get home. I'm at school right now and i've got an exam at 3. I should be back home around 5-ish, so expect a picture update then. I can't believe how much attention this thread is grabbing! I plan on compiling all the pictures and information from this thread into a real-deal "how-to guide to wet nitrous" once i get all the info i need. So keep posting ladies and gentlemen! |

Alright, i found image hosting from imageshack. Here's the photos![]() This is the first fuel fitting, on the fuel rail. ![]() This is a size comparison between the supplied tee and the stock fuel line. ![]() This is the fitting coming from the hardline. ![]() Here's a mockup of the zex box on the driver's side shock tower, right behind the intake. ![]() This is an overview of the general location of the solenoid mounting location. ![]() And this is how real racers do things. 10lb nitrous bottle and enormous subwoofer enclosure. Trunk space be damned. I'll go out and get pictures of the fuel rail. Bear with me. |

Ok, here's the fuel rail.![]() I wonder what's under that little hat? I tried unscrewing it, but i didn't unscrew it because it took a surprising amount of effort to move. Any suggestions? Comments? I'm sorry about the less than stellar image quality, i'm going to blame low light and the general shittiness of the camera i'm using. |

Ok, i understand the jet placement, 6-18 inches from the TB and after the MAF. I think i'm losing you about the fuel rail though... can you explain either in diagrams or in the pictures i took? Should i take pictures from a different angle? I'm almost at the point where i just want to tap my stock plastic fuel line, it seems people have been having luck with that. Thanks for the input, it's appreciated. |

I guess that's possible. I wouldn't recommend it though. If you change your mind or want to remove it that will be costly. The 'little hat thing' in the picture is most likely a fuel pressure regulator. I need to spend a few minutes in the engine compartment to help out better. The pics just don't help me as much as I would like. |

Here are some diagrams taken straight from the tC manual. It's a guide to the fuel system, i guess. I'm sure many questions will be answered with these pages.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Also, i went to my favorite discount auto parts store to pick up a number of fuel line tools for cheap. They seem to be similar to the SST the manual is talking about. I'll get a picture of them later today. |
