awesome....would a cammber kit be needed for this if u were to upgrade your wheels..but then again this doesnt lower as much as s techs right?

yea the s techs are a little lower...as for the camber kit you dont really need one on riding on stocks you just gotta get your alinment checked to make sure...im not sure about upgraded wheels though

yea i picked these cuz the s techs where a little to low for the area i drive in and the h techs TRDs where not enough drop...so i went with hotchkis...btw the ride is very smooth and doesnt have the "go-kart" feeling...thanks dude i love them.

I hope you cut the front bump stop in half. I had Tanabe NF 210 springs on stock shocks for about 20K miles and they gave out. They began to bottom out and clunk on every bump. When I took them off this past sunday and put on my TRD strut kit with the same Tanabe NF210 springs, I noticed a wear mark on the old struts where the bump stop was hitting HARD. I cut them in half and installed my Tanabe springs on the new TRD struts/shocks and it rides like a couch now . Cutting that bump stop is a crucial part that many companies don't mention.

I agree that it does look good though

It will kill the life of the shocks much faster and you will have a stiffer ride b/c the bump stop is bottoming out early. The fronts are easy to take apart b/c the upper mount swivels unlike the rear. I'd take them apart and cut the bump stops just for good measure.

My springs r gonna be installed Wednesday or Thursday, so do I need anything special to cut the bumpstop, like what kinda material is it? 'Cuz after I move up to Sacramento I aint gonna be able to afford much for wahile so I dont wanna have to replace the struts that quick.

you'll have to aske Web or someone else to see whats best for cutting it but its made outta rubber so i imagine almost any sissor type thing could be used.

Why is there a bigger drop in the back than in the front? Isn't a bigger drop in the front more common in other kits?
