Im needing to change my brake pads...but the wierd thing is when i accelerate through 1st and 2nd my e-brake light comes on. When i lift off the throttle it goes out. Now is this the computer telling me to change my brake pads or is it and electrical problem?

I dont know what it is but I dont think its normal. You may want to bring it in to the dealer to check it out.

People that don't know what they are talking about will say it's because your fluid is low and all you need to do is add more. Well yes it's low, because your brakes need replaced. I swear this needs to be in a bulletin or something. I have tried to help people out with this issue atleast 15 times and all i get is people calling me a moron and saying i'm wrong and it's just the fluid level.

light on because fluid is low,

fluid is low because brake pads are worn,

CHANGE YOUR BRAKE PADS.

Haha, I just learned what RTFM means. You know they have on Wikipedia?

I thought you meant his the light was suppose to come on all the time, haha, that would be ridiculous. My bad.

Anyway, glad to hear the problem is solved.

Yep, and don't forget too, most people don't replace the rotors everytime they replace the pads. But the rotors do wear down too. I ran into a case where my rotors were sooo worn down that even with new pads, the light came back on after only 2 weeks (Original rotors at 93K miles). The pads were still good, but the rotors were too thin. All is good now
