If im not mistaken...the crutchfield kit replaces the stock metal brackets with plastic kit ans would be more succeptible to theft. also, the aluminum sheet metal i used looks mor becoming than the ugly black kit they have.

Would have looked better centered, unless you are planning on putting a tC or Scion emblem above it.

I am planning on putting my -switches- for whatever I will need switches for up there.....I was at home depot today and I am probably going to replace that piece with some floor tile or actual sheet metal.I did think about centering it and it would definately look much better centered....this was a quick install to guage whether or not it would look good.

I would put the deck at the top and use the bottom for an equalizer or maybe a small screen....

Nice and clean, but too low I think.

not feeling it. it-s a little low and sticks out from your metal sheet too much. so it looks out of place. maybe push the deck back or bring the sheet forward more?

It must be the angle of each picture. The metal is sitting flush with the back of the outer rim of my HU... i thought about drilling new holes, but after my measurements, there would be no way to fill in the bottom part of the gap. The metal is sitting along the indention created by the outer rim of the stock HU...the part you dont see b/c of the factory fit. It is by far not the cleanest thing in the world but it looks a lot better than a big gaping hole and complements the finish of the interior IMO. Plus, at a total build cost of $7, cheapest mod ur gonna do.Thx for the opinions.
