My friend called Me earlier tonight to let Me know he wants to do some of the work I want done to My car next weekend. He wants to use My car to help promote some of the things his new business is going to be offering so he is hooking it up. I'm really psyched, he is going to powdercoat My rims either black or hyper black (havent decided yet) leaving only the crome lip, lugs, and center piece. He is also going to paint My calipers red, and he mentioned something about replacing My brake lines or cables with steel mesh ones. (anyone heard of this?) He is probably going to do some other things, I'm trying to think of what else I could have him poder coat. My engine is completely stock right now so I dont have much, but maybe the engine cover? Any suggestions?

You can also paint certain parts of the engine (ie. the engine cover).

Paint certain parts of the interior console.

Add fabric to the side door panels.

Yeah I am going to get to the interior stuff My self relativelty soon. I'm going to do all the silver a satin black, probably do the vents and door handles too. Not sure that I'm going to do the door panels, but I might do a black suede look for those.

Right now I'm just concentrating on what I can have My friend do at his place while he has My car. I figured I'd maybe have him also do the engine cover black to match the rims.

Ohh, go with Hyperblack powder coat. That would look sweet.

You know what you could also do? Get an intake before next week and powdercoat that some crazy color!

Yeah I was thinking the hyper black would look good...do you know if that needs to be polished like crome or just washed like paint? Aside from the asthetics of the black and crome rimes, I'm also looking forward to having less work to do with polishing these things all the time to keep em looking their best.

As for the intake, I'm going to hold off on getting that for a while. But this guy is basically going to hook up pieces for Me as I get them, it's something for him to show off for his company. I want that progress technology rear sway bar, which I'll probably have him powdercoat red ;)

Are there any other stock engine pieces I could have powdercoated aside from the engine cover?

Steel Braided Brake Lines..means you wont lose pressure due to the the stock rubber ones expanding under extreme braking..theyre nice to have IMO...

Yeah I looked em up. They sound pretty nice. Not sure if he is going to go to all that measure, but he was thinking about it, so we'll have to see.
