hi everyone, i just got the cold air intake by fujita, not long after i installed it i found out that it is rubing my chassies and i can clarely see damage to the pipe. i searched around and i found people having the same problem.
then i found

i think that would help
do you guys know if there is any thing like that on the market for the tc?

This will hold the intake still while it travels into the fender well and keep it from scraping against the fender edge.

You should be able to detach the center of the pipe enough (and remove the top of the fuse box) to riggle it into place. It's plastic so it's flexible.

I have a Fugita CAI and don't have this problem at all. I installed mine myself and apparently lucked out!

They sure do. From my understanding Fugita is a separate company but in someway related to Injen.

The Fujita set up is a Complete Cold Air Intake. This set up being that it can be converted from a cold air set up into a ram air set up by removing the lower pipe at the coupler and installing the filter in it's place just like the Injen! Really all this means is that it rocks hard.

I had that same problem. If you don't care too much about looks, try to just get some thick rubber piping and wd 40 to put it over the area. It works like a charm. The piping is 3 bucks per foot? So it's very cheap. You can pick it up at any auto shop.

I installed my Fujita CAI this past thursday along with Dr. Isotope's CAI fender panel install went great and mine hasnt rattled only slight problem i have is the part of the fender panel that is opposite side of the screw rattles when im idling but i think if i use like double sided rubber tape it'll stop it from rattling other than that I have nothing bad to say bout that part and it sounds mean when I acclerate. 10 out of 10 for this CAI!!!

not likely i looked into this b4 installing my F5 Fujita and the piping is too longthe filter does not fit. so only a CAI is fees able SRI is unlikely unless u modify the pipe

^Correct...........Injen is the only intake, as of yet, that easily converts to a SRI. The rest require primary pipe (upper pipe to throttle body) manipulation.
