I've been wanting to buy the 2008 projector headlights for my 07. While I was at the dealership today getting my first oil change, 5K already and I asked the parts department how much they were and he said $225 per headlight. Does anyone know the CHEAPEST place to get these bad boys? I love the black housing.

I will when I have the cash. I'm going to get my intake and exhaust first. And I need to have my springs installed too, I'm too scared to do it myself and the shop that's doing it is going to do the camber adjustments as well. I just like to have a good list of upcoming mods so I can set my goals. Thanks for the link, I bookmarked it. I'm also trying to get some custom fiberglass work done to the interior too.

Projectors for the 08s do not bolt on directly. As far as I know. there is no adapter that toyota makes to fit them on the tC. Doesn't mean you can't find one though.

Yes there a direct bolt on affair. And the high beams are the same, so it hooks right up

NOW. Concerning the low beams.....

IF you allready have an HID kit for your 05-07, then you just need to order H11 bulbs and your good to go. If you dont have HID's allready, then youll have to order a kit with a H11 bulb but a 9006 socket. Any of the HID makers should be able to handle your request.

NOW if you want to stay with halogen bulbs.... you either have to buy an H11 to 9006 adapter or you have to cut and splice your stock harness to the H11 socket.

Moral of the story is, if you buy the 08's. Get the HID kit.

Wow, I did not know that at all.

So if you buy 08 headlights they dont come with the bulbs?

Well the projectors are cool. Only thing i dislike is the place for the turnsignals. But its not a "Order 2008 units and screw em in" type of thing. Wich is what I ment about a direct bolt on. I'm sure they fit.

I dont know if they do, but logic would tell me yes you get halogen bulbs with it.

But its a pain in the ass to get the 08 headlamps and keep the halogens (if you drive an 05-07)

The reason i like the 08 headlights over aftermarket, is Toyota fit and finish on the product.

Now only when i get a set of 08's i have to find someone who can open them and paint the inside, cuz that grey color has to GO
