Ok, so the edges, steering wheel accents, and gauge shroud are color matched to the outside, and the center from the top of the vents down to the edge of the cupholders are a graphite/gunmetal which is close to the rims...I think I may reclear them at a future date.

Ok, on the side of the steering wheel, not the column, there are two holes. Get a drill with an extension, and a torx bit, size 30. Undo that (it doesn't come all the way out). Next the center can be pulled off (do this slow or disconect the battery so airbag doesn't deploy). Rest it on top of the steering column, and you will see two screws. Take those off, and pull the trim pieces off. The side with the radio controls will need to be unplugged. Then once you have them off, you need to take the radio controls out. Three little screws, and three tabs will get the unit off. The while pieces inside which presses down on the actual control unit will need to come off (those are size coded so you can't mix them up) and then the actual buttons need to be pressed from the front side, while the two inside edges of it are pressed to gether to get themoff the rocker posts.

Thanks everyone And Nadi, when I'm back in NJ, I can help you do it, if you can do without your steering wheel controls, waterfall, shift boot and cig lighter, and cup holders for the few days it takes to cure...
