 just an idea, i dont care too much either way... but

i was reading the rules about The Coffee House section & i noticed how you didnt want random threads because they can clutter the search.

if thats the reasoning, then maybe you could create subsection that would NOT show up through search. like a coffee hut haha.

this would allow users a little more freedom in what they can/cannot post (not saying there isnt enough already.) problem with this might be that mods will have to look at this section a little more strictly to make sure bad stuff doesnt start up.

 its not that it clutters the search, it clutters the recent posts page to. I dont usually come on here to talk about random events, im here for cars, and thats about it, and it got annoying for a while when thats all that would come up on the latest thread activity

 I like the search results omitting the coffee house stuff but coffee house stuff showing up in recent thread activity is fine. If you dont want to see coffee house stuff, it does not show up in "Home" I believe.

And I believe the new site will allow you to set the number of threads shown in "Home" right?
