Just curious on how well the Rain X glass treatment works on the windows. Anyone ever tried it?

I could hardly see in my accord when I didn't have rain x in the washer fluid. Now, with the tC I rarely even turn the wipers on because I can see so well in the rain. I think it works better when actually applied to the glass, but I like the rain x windsheild fluid just fine.

Wipes and spray are equally effective. And yes, under medium to light snow conditions, RainX is awesome. But I dont think it will help with a couple inches of snow if its already on the windshield, haha.

You'll wonder how you ever drove in the rain without it.

if you do the Spray/Wipe application along with the Rain X washer fluid, it's an awesome combo. I can't say the washer fluid is strong enough to replace actually cleaning and applying the Rain X though.

The washer fluid will make your window treatment last for months because it applies more Rain X with each windshield nozzle mist.

The rainx windshield wipers work great. They now make their own version of the Bosch Icon's which run about 17 bucks a pop, but the quality is unbeatable. I'd been using the regular rainx wipers for a while thoug, and they were the best I'd used until I upgraded to the new ones. You'll be happy with either version.

yea... how often do you re-apply though?

i used Rain Clear (a product far superior to Rain-X, and created by Howard Ohlhausen (pssst.. he patented the technology that created rain-x)... yah.. same guy..)

newer stuff.. comes in a much longer lasting gel form.

one application lasted me throughout the entire rainy season. never used my wipers once.

Walmart is a retailer that carries them. If you can't find them there, then you can order them from Amazon with free shipping

Hmmm, I may have to try that other window treatment...

Wow, Im definitely going to try that Rain Clear stuff after I finish my RainX. Apparently its solvent free. That means 100% active ingredient.
