That's a BIG jump in HP! Have y'all done many? Is there a big problem afterwards with wheel hop? I know FWD cars have an issue with that once you get up in the HP range.

never had any issues with this kit. The wheel jump depends on the way you drive.

Were the cars with this kit driven like at the track? Wheel hop can be fixed, I'm just wondering what to expect. In my experience, dropping a FWD car with 250+ WHP at anything over 1500 RPMS will cause it to wheel hop so hard your fillings will fall out of your teeth. Now if you baby it and drive very easily there is no issue. But coming off the line it sounds like the car is going to explode. Heck, even CTS-V's have this problem with RWD. GM has a TSB for that issue. Same with the 6.0 GTO, the STS-V, etc...

Get an LSD and don’t drop the clutch after 2500RPM.

I know ways to correct wheel hop, what I wanted to know is if these car exhibited it with that HP. They state that it does not. Honestly, that surprises me but I don't have a reason to disbelieve them. It looks like a good kit.

Oh, and a LSD does nothing for wheel hop. Feathering the clutch will along with stiffer mounts, better tires, etc..
