B&M SHORT SHIFTER BUSHINGS

The B&M Shifter comes with bushings four of them,but after spending so much time pulling the old shifter out I did not put the bushing in.My question is if that would make a difference in the feel of the shifts.

Are these cable bushings you are talking about? You wouldn't have to take the shifter out, but rather pop your hood and replace your rubber cable bushings.

I have NST Cable bushings and have shifting feels slightly smoother and stiffer.

If these are the bushing feet for the cage, then ignore everything I mention above.

No, they are for the base of the shifter. They are made of metal.
