The B&M Shifter comes with bushings four of them,but after spending so much time pulling the old shifter out I did not put the bushing in.My question is if that would make a difference in the feel of the shifts. |

Are these cable bushings you are talking about? You wouldn't have to take the shifter out, but rather pop your hood and replace your rubber cable bushings. I have NST Cable bushings and have shifting feels slightly smoother and stiffer. If these are the bushing feet for the cage, then ignore everything I mention above. No, they are for the base of the shifter. They are made of metal. |
