ok so theres an injen exhaust on ebay.. for like 240
he says hes been using it for 6 months it kinda looks rusted... but the back muffler part is shiny and new looking

is there any danger of buying this

Looks ok but just make sure that if it came with a gasket that you get a gasket with it.

luckily our cars haven't been around enough to be cheated on time used...lol...nevertheless, that one looks to be in good condition...however, most times we pay almost the same price we would get it used...

i think the danger is virtually zero on this one...the exhaust looks fine other that the heat discoloration but thats normal. as web said, make sure is comes with the gasket!

A piece of material that goes between the 2 joints that meet. Midpipe and Rear section...it may or may not need/have one.

gaskets are made of different materials...they're usually placed in between the flanges of headers, pipes and heads...nevertheless, they're function is to keep the pieces from touching metal on metal...and to make the fitting a bit more snug of course to avoid leaks...both pressure and air although one generall means the other..,lol

muffler shop, they have plenty...even autozone, if you have to all you have to do is have your muffler guys or shop weld a new flange so that you could fit universal gaskets...however you could probably use a universal one with a few cuts here and there.

No idea.........just depends on the joint and how it's going to connect.

not necessarily, you might want to ask him....if it's a true tc axleback you'll have the same style flanges so you probably go to scion and get some new ones...they get worn and tear fairly easily after being used, so it depends on how burnt their's is...

gasket SHOULD be ok, but if its just a normal flange, u can get em for like $0.50 at toyota/scion lol

just ask the seller if it comes with the gasket, and also ask Injen if it uses the OEM Gasket size
