Aciidsneaker Marshfield Wisconsin, US	So I was down in Marshfield, WI went to the store to pick up some donut's at like 8 or something and came out after checking out and the people that were behind me kinda looked at my car before they knew what mine as they saw me get in it the lady started to get to the front of the car and kinda bent over to read the front of it. hmm my car is seeexxxyyy! Web Maryland, US THE SHADOW	Driving my tC around with the rack on top is great. EVERYONE stares at me and most have the "How the hell did he do that?" type of face. I've had a few people drive by and just pace me staring at how it's mounted b/c I guess they didn't believe it was possible with the glass roof. It's even better when my bike's on there b/c people pretty much break their necks when I pass them or they pass me. I've had a truck pull up next to me and say "Hey, we were thinking of getting a tC but didn't know if it could carry anything like that....Thanks!".....hahahaha And, it's always a surprise to some random Honda or Mitsubishi when I'm at a light and that rack is on. They think they'll blow me away.. I guess a bike rack means you're slow? Well, at the next light I'm not getting anymore looks ....Oh well....hahahahhaa Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

SpecTc Springfield Missouri, US Detailer	Well I was off all last week for vacation, and it was like everyday I went anywhere peoples eyes were like magnets stuck to my car. This one made me feel the best though.. I was at the bank rolling through getting some cash and I couldn't help from noticing this little boy next to me in line just staring at my car, I don't think he could have been more than 6-7 years old, but if his eyes were lazers they would have so melted my car into a molten lava! LoL So anyways I just so happen to look over for a second time and the little guy was like, that is a sweet car, so I was like thanks lil man, and then I heard him say to his mom, I want a car like that when I get older, she's like we will see. So somehow we were both leaving at the same time, and I looked over and asked the mom if he would like to sit in the car, mind you I would usually not do this at the bank parking lot but I did and the look on that little boys face was just like he had seen a ghost. He's like mom can I please, so I pulled over and let the kid sit in there and check it out for a min and just see the smile on that little boy's face made my whole day and vacation worth while. The bad note is that someone the next day wanted to look at the back of my car so bad that they rearended me.....

nick06tc Virginia, US Scion Guru	I get the stares all the time. People at redlights asking me to roll down my window to ask questions. People pointing. but the best was at a gas station yesterday. I pumped and went in to buy a drink. I was in line and a couple in front of me was looking out the window. The wife said, that is a nice car and not over done and ricey. Then her husband agreed and said "Damn and I have to drive a minivan to work everyday, and somebody gets to drive that car?" They then went on to talk about it. it was funny because they had no clue the owner was right behind them.

Orin	this story happened about 20 minutes ago when I was coming back from getting a bite to eat. I saw this this guy and his girlfriend sitting in a Ford Explorer and I roll up next to them at a red light, but I stay back enough to see the back of their heads.. so we get rolling and as I'm passing them I hear a whistle and some talking, but I can't make it out... I slow down and get beside him and he's like "rev it up one time..." so I switch into neutral and give it a nice healthy rev... and the look on his face was priceless, it's almost like he was saying "I want one of those" I had smile on my face on the way back home

Orin	I was just outside my apartment to take a picture of my HID ballasts to help another user and one of the maintenance guys for my apartment complex says, "man, you've turbo in there don't you?" I explained to him that I don't have a turbo , but I wish I did. He continued to explain how when he hears me drive by it sounds like a turbo spool, but I showed him the air intake where the the throttle body is making the whistle. He was all over it just looking though.

I was gettin rdy to go to break today and get somethin off the roach coach, and while Im headin out the break I notice ppl from the other businesses checkin it out. Feels kinda nice havin a car that intrigues ppl enuf to walk around it, but then this 1 guy leans up against the drivers side rear fender! B4 I had a chance to say anything, my friend, the guy that owns the company I work for, yells at the guy, "get the #$#% off that car, have some respect for other ppls property!". I was laffin my a** off on the inside but still gotta have the pissed off look on my face lookin at the guy.

HeartagramtC San Mateo California, US Window Washer	my story is quite funny, but i was at a four lane intersection, and i was at the front at a red light. and to my left there was a cop car with two police officers in it, and when their light turned green and they started to make the left, i noticed the passenger cop, was staring at my car, and then i saw him take off his glasses to get a better look. it was soo funny! im not sure if it was the bubbles or the furr that got his interest, but thats my stare story.

ramoon83 Bremerton Washington, US Detailer	Ok, so there i was, driving back to Washington st. from Texas and i was in Salt Lake City. I was minding my own business, driving down the highway at night doing about 65 mph in a 60 and all of a sudden i see this 9X's prelude in my rear view mirror, apparently i wasn't going fast enough for him. So instead of just going around me (it was a 4 lane highway will little traffic), he turns his brights on, which didn't really bother me cuz of the auto dim mirror. I just laughed and waited to see how long he would do it, about 5min later i get over and as soon as he gets past me, i get behind him to return the favor. Never in my life did i see a car's ass end lift so high in the air!! Thankfully for me my brakes work just as good and prevented from having his tail lights in my lap. I figured i'd quit and just let the guy go, he obviously didn't want any of this cuz i would've fucked him up. that's my story and i'm stickin to it. Either way i'm still tryin to figure out what i did to make him do that or if he was just being a dick. god only knows. Long live the MOONPIE!

ramoon83 Bremerton Washington, US Detailer	oh yeah as for a cop story, it was St. Patrick's day and i was still new to Washington. I met up with my buddy and i was following behind his Civic Si to the local bar goin like 7 over the speed limit. All of a sudden i see flashing lights....son of a....i start to slow down and pull over when the cop zips by me and pulls my buddy over. WTF?? I stop about a block away and turn around, by the time i get back to them the cop was leaving and i asked my buddy what happened. He said he got a ticket for speeding and the only reason i didn't get pulled over was because my plates were from Hawaii, so he figured that i was following the Civic and didn't realize the speed limit. That's why having Hawaiian plates in any different state rules, they just leave me alone. Long live the MOONPIE!

MoiBoi Burbank California, US Tech Advisor	I live in LA so everyone knows about scion so you dont get many stares but i was the second person to buy the 08 at the dealer i got it. When we got home from the dealer i parked the car and went inside to show my mom and sis. As i came out i saw the other 2 tc owner in my block come over and stare it down and ask me where i got my tail lights. I told them they were stock and that it was the 08 model. They showed me their mods and now were freinds kinda funny how having the same car as someone make for new freindships. Two days ago I was on my way to work and stuck in a red light that last forever when another stock SW 08 tc pulls up next to me. This guys car looked like he took off the dealer a day ago cuz it still had the temp reg on the windshield. Keep in mind there arent many 08 out here yet. So i think this guy is kinda amused to see my 08 white tc with tinted windows. So the guy looks at my tc then He rolls his window down and gives me a nod. I nod back next i hear him rev his engine. I look at him with a smirk in my face and rev mine while still looking at him. His expression after he heard my intake was priceless. I think he thought i had a turbo under the hood cuz he just looked away and didnt stare for the remaining time were stuck in that horridly long light. As i took off i accelerated hard so he could hear the intake. On the next light he never looked at me. His expression was funny, i will always remember it it was like he regretted that he reved his engine mized in with awe. I love my tc

He turns and looks at me, proceeds to stop at the stop sign and then rolls his window down and waves me forward. I pulled next to him and he asked me to pull over so I did. He gets out of the car to look at it and ask all kinds of questions about the lip kit, the vinyl, the tails, all that stuff. It was hilarious. Rabid_Lemming Cumming Georgia, US Scion Guru	I was getting coffee during my lunch break, and a guy walking into the coffee shop stopped by my car, walked around it, took out his cell phone, and proceeded to have a conversation with someone over the phone. As I was leaving, the guy saw me, and walked over and started to ask me questions about the car. Essentially, he was looking to get a new car soon. He asked me if he could look under the hood, and I said sure, but the tC doesn't come stock looking like mine. He kinda shrugs and I pop my hood and his eyes bug out. The same thing happened when he asked me about the sound system, and I explained how my sound system uses a stock head unit and a computer for music, movies, navi and internet. Another time, I was at a long light one night, and I was changing playlists on my computer. So as I'm looking down deciding what I want, I keep hearing a car to my right revving up. I finally glance over and see a Civic. He's glaring at me or my car and revving trying to flex I guess. So I kinda laughed and went back to what I was doing. He keeps on revving, and actually fires forward about six inches like he was about to launch. At this point I got fed up, look back up at him....and let him hear my blow off valve. Then I went back to choosing my music. The light turned green and he turned right My car isn't the fastest car out there, but I'll tell ya.... Sometimes I haul more ass than a pimp driving a caddy full of hoes. Me to Pathik at PRacing.com about modding cars "It's like crack, but you don't lose as much weight...also you don't blow people for performance parts. So I guess it's nothing like crack"

xLOx89x Florida, US Vehicle Designer	tonight i took my brother to taco bell, and i didnt want anything, so my bro just leaned over and ordered out the car window. the guy at the window could see my car, but not us in it, and he was like "dude ur car is sweet, what kind is it...blah blah blah" thru the intercom thing. so we get up to the window and he see's me in the drivers seat, then he realizes its my car (i guess ALL the pink gave it away lol) then he's like "no way! thats awesome! its cool to see a girl take interest in her car." i thought it was pretty cool. its the first time someones said anything to me about it.

Aviator213 Hagerstown Maryland, US Scion Guru	so i had another one tonight, I was at Ritas Italian Ice in my town. and these 2 guys pull in in a Lancer Ralli Art and go and get their italian ice and then they come back and he goes to get in his car and then he sees me standing by my tC and he just looks for a few minutes and then got out and came over and started a conversation with me and all he was really nice and he wanted to see the engine and everything and he was impressed with the car. He said when he sells his Ralli Art he wants to get a tC then he said he wanted to go cruise sometime and i was like sure and everything and then he left and of course had to show off and break the wheels loose as he left and everything. It was just interesting cause most of the time i just get people staring ive never had anyone come up to me like that.

tc95050 Sacramento California, US Vehicle Designer	Today wuz the first day I ever had it happen to me at a stoplight. So, I am at the lite at El Camino and San Tomas Expressway and a VTA bus pulls up next to me, of course my stereo is loud enuf that I cant hear anything, but I sorta hear some1 askin' a question, so I turn it down. The driver of the bus looked like he was old enuf to just get his license, but he start askin' questions, what kinda exhaust, how much did it cost, would it be hard to put on an 06, same yr as mine and then he wanted to hear it. The smile on his face wuz great. Then I take off from the lite and I gotta get in front of the bus, cuz I was gettin' some food, so of course the car is loud, a lil squeal from the tires. I pull in2 the parking lot and there is 2 of Santa Clara's finest standing next to their bikes. As Im gettin outta the car, 1 of em says, "it sounds great, but its a no-no spiining your tires and have a good dinner."

ANd like last week these people passed by and asked me if they could take a pic with my car..IT makes me feel good but at the same time my car looks like crap compared to everyone else on the site..lol "She said its just a car...and i said your just a girl!! "
