My car has been a head turn since the day I bought it, a ton of people have stared it down, walked around it, once while I was eating look out of the A&W I see an older lady and her husband talking about it walking around it and when they walk in she says "I told you it was a Scion"

One of mine happened today actually. I was eating lunch with a friend, and looked out into the parking lot where there were 2 guys, they looked like they were probably 21 or 22 walking around it and they had there cell phones out taking a picture of it. When I went to leave they noticed me getting into it and came up to me and with a shocked expression asked "Thats your car !?!" And i was like yeah its a fun little car and they told me it was a really nice car and watched me back out and then pull out of the parking lot.

Also, once returning to my friends house, we went inside and were playing xbox in his room and I could look out the window and see my car. Well, today was a big yard sale day for his nebighorhood so there were all kinds of people and i noticed at least 10-15 people stop at my car, look at it and walk around it before continuing walking

yesterday night I was going to the video store to see if there was anything I wanted to rent and there were these high school kids having a meeting/discussion around this F-150 crew cab.

I'm driving past them to park and I didn't think anything of them until I cut the lights and get out the car and when I glance over I see all of them (about 7 or 8 of them) quiet and heads turned looking at me.

It's flattering, but a little spooky sometimes.

I still have the stock rims on my car and when I pull up to a stoplight i get alot of people looking down at the wheels trying to make out what it says there where the scion emblem is

I get people look at my car now all the time when I drive by, and when I see a group of people together start looking at my car I make the blow off valve go off, funny to see their reactions, very very few turboed tc's out here in so cal, besides mine I have only seen maybe 4-5 others

yup, done it more than once. I usually don't have mercy like I did on that guy and just leave because I get annoyed with the fact that the a*s is so cocky that he thinks he can outdrive me and then has the nerve to ask for my number. But this guy was cute, so I gave it to him anyway lol

I've done that before in the miata, like theres always a group of construction workers standing out near the road down the street from the entrance to my nebighorhood and i began to notice they would always watch me so I would step on it to spool the turbo up and shift right as I passed them, the first time it scared some of them and they dropped their shovels lol

another story from the miata, I was at ritas with a friend one time and a bunch of people were standing in the parking lot eating their ice when I pulled in and they all stared and then watched us get out and go order, then watched us get back in and as I backed out everyone just kept straing and the stared as I turned out and left...kind of ackward

I had stopped at a plaid pantry to buy 'cheer beer' for my friend and I, I looked out the window and there is a guy walking circles around my car. he came in the store and saw me staring at him, he asked if it was my car... I told him it was and he asked for the paint name so he could have his truck done in that color(NB) Then last week I went and bought some wheels off craigslist for a friends car, the guy I got them from was staring at my car and asked if it was a BMW (I was buying BMW wheels) I laughed and told him it was a Scion, told me he had never heard of scion before and asked if it was a German company.. i was cracking up as I left his house

Chuck Norris is currently suing myspace for taking the name of what he calls everything around you.

Driving near my gf's old college today to go visit some of her friends, I turn onto the road and see a guy getting out of his Honda Fit (hahahahahhaha...sorry, just funny) and his buddy's on the sidewalk along with his other friend in his 03-04 Si Hatch. I pass them and all they do is just stare. My gf asked why and I just said it's a Honda thing......they just stare. (Swiftprov's thought was it's SPS....we'll let you all figure that one out.)

On the way back, after about 30 minutes of meeting with her friends, we drive back and they're still there. As I drive by, they stop everything they're doing just to sit and stare again. My gf just laughed at them and it didn't phase them.....Oh well..........

Always neat to have people check your car out, but it's funny to watch a group of Honda owners stop everything and just watch you drive by.


I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. A.E.
