When I get my Flint Mica tC I want to get some 18 inch wheels in a gunmetal/anthracite color to match the car. I am not a car guru so I am not sure which wheels are good and which ones are crap. I do like the Enkei wheels (RSV-s) a great deal so far. I was wondering if I could get some names of other quality wheels that I should look at, as well as websites. Thanks

Racing Hart, ADVAN, volk, those seem to be the performance rims of today... go0d luck on the ADVANS though, some of the most expensive, yet lightest rims on the market. Set of 17- black with anodized blue lip (yes, the ones you see on gran turismo) Go for at minimum, 2,000 a set, no tires.

I-ve had a few different kinds of rims in my day on a variety of cars...Motegi - I had some Motegi MR-7-s on a swap Civic hatch. They were 17-s and they were heavy as hell. I regretted getting them after I got them because they slowed the car down noticably. They were gunmetal, and they chipped pretty badly in the 4 or so mos. I owned them. I-d never buy them again.Kosei - I had a set of Rancing Senkas (17-) on my most recent car before the tC. They were lighter than the stock 15-s that came on that car and they were super strong. I beat the crap out of the car and the wheels never showed an ounce of weakness. Finish looked as good the day I got rid of them as the day I got them. Awesome rims, but super hard to find and pretty expensive ($1500 w/o tires)Exel - I got these at Wheelmax.com. They held up pretty good but were heavy. Build quality is nothing special but they look good and come in several flavours of -rip off- from other companies- more expensive rims. You can get them to look like pretty much anything and they-re cheap. The Kumho Ecsta tires that come on them in the -package- deals are junk. For handling these suck because of the crappy tires and the weight, but they look good if you-re just going for show.Enkei - I had some 17- Enkei 5+ rims on a Sunfire GT I had in high school (17-) I got these rim when they were just coming out wrapped in Yokohama NT450 rubber. These were some of the best tires I-ve owned. The wheels were kinda heavy but not too bad when compared to the stock huge 3 spoke 16-s that came on the Sunfire. Weight was comparable between the two. These were nice but kinda expensive ($1200 for the set w/ tires), but this was also when 17-s were about as big as you-d go on a car and 20-s on a truck were insane. Prices are probably much better now.

I think you meant Nitto NT450 rubber. No big deal. The only wheels I-ve owned are 17- RH Evolution (by Racing Hart) T10s. Really rare, you can see them in some Racing Hart ads from I think 4 years ago. Loved them but the chrome from the center caps peeled off one winter. Should-ve changed wheels for winter. Anyway, the T10s didn-t share center caps with any of their other wheels and they didn-t have replacements as the wheels were already discontinued when I bought them new, which sucked bad. I bought center caps from other RH wheels and modified them to fit, only to lose one shortly after. Otherwise, loved the wheels and only saw one other person with them in 3 years - a guy at the dealership where I had my car serviced. He complimented me on them the first time I took my car there then I saw them on his car about a year later. Still have mine in my garage but they have some curb rash.

Any of these Companies produce high end 3pc wheels: Fikse, HRE, IForged.Your popular imported wheels from Japan, any line from Mackin Industries, including anything from the RAYs division(Volk Racing, Rays genome, Gramlight..to name a few)Then there are reputable companies like Axis, SSR, Motegi, Racing Hart, RH Evolution...I could go on like everyone else...but..It really does depend on what your taste and budget is. Thats probably one of the harder choices, owners have to make. So many wheels...and such a small amount of cashola! lolIf you need any help...let me know...I have a few friends that might be able to help you.
