Well I finally installed my new seats. I love them, they are still comfortable and they hold you in place.

here are some pictures:

I got the wide version so they were $688 shipped. Bought the brackets used for $100. usually like $200 for them.

Not a bad deal.

Very nice matches the interior. Some racing seats look odd because they clash with the back seats and rest of the interior, but yours don't.

Insane. It looks awesome. They are lighter than the stock seats Im guessing?

This is why I liked these so much. people with red and blue and all seats is just to much for me. Unless you have an insane ride that it flows with.

Much lighter. i actually thought of weighing them, but didnt. I am going to take them out to rerun some wiring for my system and to clean the interior. Probably next week. I will post up some results when I do it.

Only thing I dont like about the knob is that it gets SO hot I cant touch it. i have to shift with the boot of the shifter.

let me ask you nick, do the seats have any kind of adjustability? Can you get some height or tilt the bottom>?

The only adjustments they have is forward and backward. And seat back tilt.

No height or anything. but I am going to make some spacers at work to raise them up about an inch so they are stock height. my wife doesnt like sitting so low. So if I dont raise them she will want to take her car all the time.

On the driver side, I might make the front spacer higher than rear to give the seat bottom some tilt to it. I like with the stock seats having them all the way down, tilted all the way back.

The only thing with my fix is, you cant adjust, but I can always make different size spacers if i dont like it. Just need to take some steel tubing of different thicknesses, cut into blocks and dril a hole through them. get some longer bolts and done.

Couple of questions. So these seats are about 1-2 inches lower than the stock seat?

Also, were you unable to use the stock rails on the original seats for this install? Or did you buy the other ones to keep the stock seats whole?

Yes they sit lower. But you can use washers, or bushings to space them up higher if you would want to.

You have to use aftermarket rails for them. The stock ones wont work.

You dont have to loose your airbags. You can relocate most of the sensors. And you can bypass the one to make them work. Only issue, and not really an issue is the passanger side will go off even if no one is sitting in it and you are in an accident.

I like how there is a little room between the seat and the door sills. So when I drop my god damn cell phone I can actually find it without removing the seat from the vehicle.
