I'm sure this guy in Ocean City for Cruisin' Week is hating the fact that he had about a 20-25 lb bottle..............Guy in a Mustang got pulled over and was on the side of the street with a 2 foot tall, and maybe basketball size diameter bottle just emptying it out. HAHAHAHAHAH.......he got caught purging.

Sorry.........back on topic......

How much is the avg. for a fill up? Cost per lbs or NO2.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

it's around 30 bucks for a 10 pounder over in Guam, so it must be alot cheaper over here in the states

Hey, can you post the instructions to cutting the fuel line for nitrous? I just got my zex wet kit and i want to install it asap. Also, can you be more specific with your solenoid mounting location?

I'm really antsy about this whole thing, it sucks having this kit and not being sure about where and how to mount things.

do you have to do any internal work to your motor or is it just plug and play?? and if used correctly will it damage you motor in the long run??

I don't have any internal work done to my motor. I checked the spark plugs after one bottle's worth of nitrous, and everything's running perfect. I have yet to run a second bottle through, but i assure you you don't need to have anything done to your motor's internals to handle a 75hp shot of nitrous!

yea but it puts strain on the transmission

It puts as much strain on the transmission as the supercharging kit by TRD. Nitrous would actually be pretty ownage on an automatic, especially if you have a button engage system. You'd be the fastest auto on the block for sure.

what upgrades must you make to run nitrous safely on the tc? i see your calculations and rules of thumb, but nowhere do i see getting colder spark plugs, premium fuel, etc. i mean, most of it is common sense but i envision many people reading this with stock tc's and buying nitrous kits and slapping them on and then... detonation. maybe i missed where you mention that.

How vital is it to purge the nitrous out of your line when you're shutting the car off for the night after using nitrous that day? I've been purging the line every time i park the car, even if it's only for a couple of minutes because i'm afraid something bad might happen.

I haven't seen anything about it in my zex manual or on any nitrous q&a topics. It seems like i'm just wasting N2O. Can somebody give me an answer?

It's measured for 75hp, but not all of it gets to the wheels. It ends up closer to 65ish hp to the wheels.
