I have had my 05 TC for almost a year now... And I just have lost interest mostly in the inside interior... I have been looking at the new 07 civic Si and the 06 RSX Type-s and they both look way better interior... I also hate that our cars dont have 6speed... even sentra come in 6speed... So i decided to get rid of my TC whithin a few months... So which is better SI or Type-s???

Honestly im not a big fan of the SI's. I know this will sound biased because i own a cobalt lol, but the Cobalt SS Supercharged is a great buy. Fully loaded you can pick them up right around 20k. They put down about 210-220 WHP stock. With a supercharger stage 2 upgrade you'd be looking right around 240whp. Interior has leather, two-tone seats with matching door inserts.

however the cobalt is still only a 5 speed.

Well HIS cobalts interior looks PIMP but i'm sure the stock interior is less impressive.

the SI has a sweet interior from what i hear, of course a Type-S IS a Type-S...

wow that was more intense than that one time I forgot how to sit down...

mid 14's stock, low 14's to high 13's with Gm Stage 2 (dealership mod -- Smaller pulley, larger injectors, smaller belt, tune)

here's a few pics

The red pieces around the dash are normally Silver, i painted mine, and the floormats are normally just grey, those are aftermarket.

However the seats and the door inserts are stock. They come in Red/black, yellow/black, Blue/black, and Black/black

I think it looks a bit nicer than our TC... I hate the gagues how the come out in our TC and also the material of the dash an doors, it looks chip... I hate the design of the doors and center dash... I know why did I get a TC... Cuz I freaking love the outside and got it for a good dam price...

honestly im not a fan of the blue interior on the cobalt, its too light imo. i'll dig up a pic. i'll try to find black also. Some 06's and 07's have the G85 package which comes with LSD and Recaro Seats, i'll see if i can find some recaros too.

If you can afford it, I'd get the SRT-4, MazdaSpeed3, Cobalt SS S/C Can't go wrong with factory forced induction

agreed. The SRT4 can put down some impressive numbers with a few aftermarket modifications (upgraded turbo, exhaust, tune, etc)

Cobalt SS S/C is one car that turns heads.............my buddy is getting his stage II setup by the end of summer and it's gonna be fun. His roommate has an R32 chiped/intake/header/exhaust and it's a beast. I am gonna have to do some major sh*t to stay anywhere close to them.....I might just ride shotgun ...haha

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.

i'd go with a mazdaspeed, for the price, there's no going wrong, all you have to do is work on the suspension and you've got a true bred front wheel drive track car, if even possible..lol..nevertheless, all the cars mentioned excluding the sexy ass type s, are much uglier than the tc...what's the point of going for interior looks when there's not much to offer on the outside...even the type s, dope look, but played out style, stick with the tc, fresh look, want more power, go greddy or zpi, want more looks, get a touchscreen and a custom interior.

I drove the mazdaspeed on HIN in tampa, and really didnt like it... its turbo but its very heavy to tosse around, the inside is ok... but the outside its a wagon... dont like 4door wagon... The SI and type-S its the same speed n engine K20... Just that the type-s has 3hp more... But NO ARM REST!!!
